Hey if I could trouble some locals.... my brother will be doing a guerilla warfare job on 9th and Railroad (in and out fairly quickly) and will be relying on some good ol boy Nevada style help if needed. He has been given a great opportunity to keep some biz going on up there this winter and will be trucking some equip in..... if he needs a hand any help you guys could lend that would be awesome.... prolly won't need it but just in case it would be good to know I have somebody I could ring out... I am giving him Westwood and Teeters name and number so any others that could even be avail if needed for a direction to point that would be HIGHLY APPRECIATED.....

Thanks in advance a million and hopefully he can just meet a few of you guys!

Well... were still "scrapeing". Around 10" of snow. All new with NO bottom. Put 40 miles in today on the road... should be set up by tomorrow for those wanting to get some tune-up/break-in miles...

Anything set up on the road yet? Was pretty patchy when I was there this past weekend. Can't be good on carbides.

From where they close the road up should be ok... definently by tommarrow. I rode at 7:30am yesterday and went back up at 4:00pm. There was around 10" of PURE powder. The road saw A TON of traffic so there should be a base there. From the beaver ponds up was dragging pavement with the carbides (even w 10")... patches of "unsupported" pavement between the ponds and where they close the road. Today is a guess if the base will set... should be ok for tommarrow after the sun hits it today then freezes... Im running old-used up carbides for now

I probably would have went for a little rode ride today Powder, but I didn't see your invite until dark as of today. I did go for a rode ride yesterday to run a couple rebuilt motors. (OLD SCHOOL BEATERS RAN GREAT). With the additional snow of today there should be a couple feet at the turnaround. I wish we had enough to really tear it up as I have the next three weeks off. I'm sure someone will hammer a trail to the lake soon. A little lake racing would put a smile on my face!!

2'-3' of fresh at the turnaround! (too bad the base is only 5") We got the trail started... 100yds up to all the willows. As soon as she sets up I think we'll be able to get up to the lake... CAREFULLY!!!! Be going with some guys tomorrow, there were about 12 sleds up after 3:00pm... oh yeah, THE MOTOR IS BROKE IN..... WHOOOHOO!!!!

So... I was "recently" talked into making the "first" attempt to beat a trail up to Lamoille Lake... I wont mention who "pressured" me (RMKRACER). It went down something like this: "Hey Joe... if you wanna try to break trail up to the lake...I'll follow." Brief pause while I justify this knowing FULL-WELL whats probably gonna happen. "Hmmmm.... ok." So up the trail we go into 4' of BOTTOMLESS powder... skipping off rocks the whole way! Now unfortunately for my "partner-in-crime" who I didnt mention (RMKRACER), I uncovered the BIG rock... she HIT it. But not giving up, I returned to the bottom to try a different line while "my partner-in-crime" sat in the 4' powder to watch (about 200yds up the trail). It went about like this...

...and yes, my "partner-in-crime" who I wont mention (RMKRACER) suffered a similiar fate. Better wait for more snow before the next attempt. New suspension is on the way... see ya' on the snow soon!

JOE,JOE,JOE How did I know this would be the fate of riders who venture off the road in these conditions? I too have suffered the wrath of the Rubies in December the last few yeas, but I believe I have leaned my lesson and will wait for some more snow. P.S. Joe, you got to have some base and I think I would have followed RMKRacer I'm sure sure she gets a better deal on parts

Joe, even the way you tell it doesn't sound like much "pressure!" LOL! That certainly wasn't my best idea!! I usually have more patience than that, but not this year! I gave you a pretty good up close show on the rock I hit, not my fault you didn't have the camera out!

I must say, you need some work on your form while doing the Superman, gotta point your toes! LMAO!

A arm is on it's way, the Dragon will be good as new tomorrow! Hope your kitty heals up quick!

So... worked on the Kitty today, got 'er all ready for new parts. When I was done, I decided to go hang out at Springcreeks PREMIERE snowmobile, ATV and watercraft shop THIN AIR POWERSPORTS. As i wandered the showroom searching for something to not buy (cuz' im broke jus' like my kitty)... I juuuuust happen to look up on the wall. And who do I see? RMK_RACER!!!! (or should I say.... MISS MARCH!) I had NO CLUE i rode with someone FAMOUS!!!.... AND BROKE HER! (hey shannon, when we going again?haha)
