Sounds good to me. Thank god wayne had one of those parts for me to use or I would be screwed. keep an eye out for me on a used one. N don't forget my boost gage

Spent some time on one.........very imprressed with the throttle response and driveability.
Rode it over Turbo hill in fresh tracks:face-icon-small-hap
Also raced a pump gas M8......same speed:face-icon-small-coo
This is a kit that I would be totally fine on as a daily rider........I had tons o fun:face-icon-small-coo

The stock system cannot handle 12lbs of boost or maintain it especially at sea level. Nytro fuel pumps are good to about 10lbs and even after a long run will start to lose fuel pressure. Ive set up many sleds(turbo and supers) and none can keep a/f under 13 above 10lbs at sea level.

I agree been there done that.

daily driver is gooood,,glad to hear your approval of the kit,,cant wait to give turbo hill a try next weekend,,,was the rest of the sled stock or lightened up that u tried,,,oh yeah good use of emocons there!!!!lol:bolt:

what seat is everyone running with this kit,,im lookin at mountain mods,,,any issues with the heat??

Just using the stock seat. The only heat issue is where the filter is located, it will ice up pretty quick in deep/powder snow conditions so put a different tube on it to bring it out and up. Theres so much ice snow buildup under the tunnel and around the turbo I don't think you would have a heat issue! Sherm

These things are fun. Very good throttle response & really pulls strong as the RPM climbs.:face-icon-small-coo Right where you need it - when you need it..:face-icon-small-hap
P.S. the 2010 is the best handling sled I've ever owned. Very happy so far:lips:.

So i went out today to get my boost set to my elevation (Sea level). My boost started out a 13 LBS. so i turned it down. hit 10 lbs. turned it down to 7 lbs. now I'm out of threads on the actuator. What do i do? It will go from like 6.5 to 8 as the turbo gets warmer. first run 6.5 second run 7 third 8... I stopped cause I was worried about something really bad happening. Any suggestions

thanks.

yeah I'm at sea level.
WE did go over the kit tonight and found that the wast gate actuator thing ( sorry don't know what to call it) was kind of bent. not the part with threads for boost, but the part it connects to. I know that is a horrible explanation but that's all i got. Any other people have bent one? a pic would be great

Im just getting mine turb'ed this week,,and been payin lots of attention to the issues,,,still a real freshman my self to the whole thing but how could that happen or why does'nt the system adjust for it,,,sounds like an install issue. the nitro fuel pump cant deliver over 12lbs,,so did ya get burps and farts or does it seem to run even though you show high boost,,is your gauge correct? just some question to thro out

So the metal tab thats on the exhaust was bent? Thats weird, can't see how that could even get bent other than maybe from the factory. Still, I can't see why that would raise and lower your boost, sounds like that problem would be somewhere else......Sherm

Just finished installing the 180 kit. My boost was showing approx. 8-9 lbs at first. I turned the rod two full turns out, dropped to 7-8, turned out three half turns and hit 6-7 lbs @2000ft. The boost does fluctuate a little but I think it's close.

The problem was the bent pin on the wastegate. It was causing binding right at the pin due to shipping damage, got it cleared up and now its running great.
