Matryx boost fuel pump

I did the foil under the tank at 300 miles had zero pump noise previous, pulled my pump to look at it previous to trip out west so would be familiar if I did have problems. At around 600 miles pump started to whine and I’ve been religiously keeping the tank well above half the sleds life yes it was a pain, I pulled my pump put the springs in both the fuel socks and they were sucked flat against the suction part and definitely helped the whine is much quieter now but still there. Broke my ankle not sure how much riding I’ll get done for the rest of the season but will order an aftermarket kit to have if I need it. I feel like the fuel socks are the restrictive part of the system and they seemed to be much dirtier the second time I pulled the pump...

Has anyone tried a Quantum / highflowfuelsystems complete pump? They list one on there website. My 2022 850 fuel pump officially failed last weekend.

Buddy had no luck with the quantum pump didnt last 2 rides. Hopefully the walboro one works better

Today one of our riders was on his 2022 Khaos 155 850 Slash, 400 miles on sled, and the fuel pump started whining whenever he was climbing, it was so loud the whine could be heard above the exhaust at idle. Long story short it started throwing the low fuel pressure warning and he had to baby it all the way back to the truck. The sled is under warranty but it ruined his day on one of the few fresh snow days we have had lately. Polaris must be fully aware of this issue as it is all to common.

This has me rethinking the 2023 Polaris snow check I placed.

Those of us on 22's could be the last to get any OEM pump fix or update - e.g., the 21 2.75 track/driver BS. Poo ambassadors, athletes like Burandt, Adams, Entz, big time sponsors like Carls, Vohk, are MIA on this - impossible to believe this hasn't affected them, even with an embargo on talk things get said. Weird. Quieter than the 19 850 build issues. Poo doesn't have a working replacement they can deploy anytime soon, or they are deciding whether they'll just give the shaft to 22 owners. FWIW, RMKs have three different pump assembly part numbers - Boost, 850 NA, and 650 NA. All have superseded pickups.

It's not just the boosts - my NA crapped out yesterday - high pitch whine all the time and low fuel pressure warning any time I got into the throttle hard. Shut it off, wait a couple minutes, restart and no warning as long as I kept the RPM's down. Dealer said no idea on how long to get a new one - at least it's on order.
Same... today

I was going out for a sweet ride too. Full tank of gas, anytime I get over 8000rpm fuel pressure code and limp mode. Going to tear it apart here shortly but I have no parts to replace with etc.

I guide sleds and now my sled is down damnit

Did the spring in sock mod a few weeks back (at 300 miles) and it helped immensely. was getting low fuel pressure code/limp mode regularly prior to. Have had a few full days since and whine is still present but not nearly as bad (50-75% quieter, can't hear it over engine/exhaust). I've only gotten one code since and a quick restart and it was back to full power. Not a long term solution but should get me through this season without major annoyance.

Mine started whining after a few rides. Kept riding it. The pump is so loud I hear it when on the trail back to truck.
Did the spring fix a few weeks ago and pump still whines. Could be if I had done the fix right away it might have worked.

Ive got a 22 N/A.
I only have about 175 miles and it whines already.
Also have a 21 850 with about 400 miles and I noticed on the last ride, it was whining also.
No codes or running issues yet.

Reading through htis, it sounds like polaris made a change to the mesh on the filter. If mine continues to be loud but not throw a code, Im going to investigate just changing it out over the summer. NA sled so my fuel pump is a little less spendy than the boosts
