Matryx boost fuel pump

Low pressure code and not able to go less then 40-50% gas. Was a issue on all 11 boost my dealership sold.

It might be a non-issue to Polaris but it kept us from riding our Boost on the mountain as the Low Fuel Pressure and limp home mode kept coming on every weekend for 8 weeks and back to the shop it would go and out the mountain the next weekend for test and then back to the shop. This non-issue was was finally (possibly repaired) as the snow was going away so only one ride on their latest repair (all seemed to be OK). I do have to say that the dealer was trying to be on top of this non-issue every time the sled appeared back at his door and also Polaris was on top of dealing with the dealers questions and with their suggestions as to what to address next. I guess we will continue to be the test link again this next season but I hope this not the case!! With the information I was able to gather, this non-issue affected about 17% to 23% of the Boost 850s and about 10% to 12 %s of NA 850s. The negative PR here is probably more detrimental to Polaris! I also have to say that riding the Boost sled when it is running the way it is suppost to perform only yields a larger smile and longer arms every time you go wide open throttle.

That 17% to 23% is definitely not correct. Every Boost out there I have came across at least has the fuel pump whining. Their owners say it's not an issue but it's because it hasn't came to the point of going in to limp mode for them yet. I would be willing to bet most of those sleds will be in the shop for new filters as a recall or individually as needed.

I have 1 ride so far with the new filters and it's running better than ever, just wish it hadn't taken so long!

I got out for a final ride of the season last week on my 22 NA Khaos. Fuel pump started whining really loud, but never got a low pressure code or limp mode. Ran fine all day, just irritating. My dealer said they would get right on it. Hoping they have it sorted out by the time my 23 boost gets here

I got the same email. Pisses me off I didn't get my sled until middle of april and they knew about the issue well before that. so that basically tells me they chose to continue shipping sleds out with bad parts knowing they were bad. I would have rather they took longer to get me my sled and sent it out with updated parts. Now i have to haul me sled with 0 miles on it back to the dealer to get torn apart. don't get me wrong i'm glad they have a fix but they definitely could have went about it a different way.

I think most who were waiting all winter on their sleds would rather have had the sled to ride than wait on the filter. Even with the old filter many sleds were still rideable. Better than missing winter imo

Just jumped on the internet after a ride on my new 22 matryx. It was a dealer demo sled with 0 mi when I bought it brand new. Just let the wife ride and we got it up to 180 nothing crazy but hottest it's been since riding. I noticed the whine loud enough to hear at idle from 15ft away. No codes yet. It's an NA sled and under warranty. Should I be concerned of a failure?

Oh and mines had all recalls done brake and fuel pump recall. Still rips just loud and annoying high pitch buzz.
Filter Socks was "recommended" not required. You might want to check if that was done. You can also send me your Vin# and I can see if it is in the Polaris service system having been done.

Wow, that is great service!
