Thats what I like to hear!
I have two test this week and have to work untill Friday.
I say a Saturday ride since Sunday's Easter.

Who's in and where should we ride?:face-icon-small-hap

stinkin rotten cheap a$$ slovakian bearing with nasty stamped steel cage that i've seen break is 100's of applications. Probably cost Polaris 5 bucks.
it needs a nice german steyr or fag bearing with the machined steel cage and precision balls, OK thats a 250.00+ bearing but ive NEVER seen one fail.
And everyone loves to have nice big oversize precision BALLS ...lmao....:high5::high5::high5:

just some info

well after running the 800's for a while I am getting sick of the water pump/oil pump belts breaking, yes even the gates kevlar breaks and its always anoying to swap out on the trail... Well... GREAT news the gates company makes the new style "GT" belt for out size !!! it has 4 times the load carrying capacity of the powergrip series belts. these belts were designed for extream load transfer and are used for supercharger belts in topfuel ect...

The correct part number is = GATES PowerGrip GT 5MR450-09 it replaces the weaker powergrip htd 450 5M 09K

I just recieved 2 of these belts and the are about double the thickness with the improved GT, tooth..cost was around 9 bucks each !! Do yourself a huge favor and run this belt !!!

Now I have to go see what belts I bought for replacement belts. Bought 3 last year but think they must be the earlier version.
I've only had one belt ever break and that was back in Surveyor when the starter rope broke and the tail of the rope derailed the water pump belt causing it to fail. I had a spare with me at the time and was able to replace the broken belt and ride the sled out.
Never ran a belt more than a season because of the failures you hear about.

IndoubtGASIT, I'll let you know what the end of the week brings and if I'll be able to make it. I would like to get at least one more ride in before I have to park the 2011 and then I'll finish up the year on the edge chassis.

im probably gunna hit lolo saturday with some friends...figured we would go there cuz we got a chick whos never gone sledin coming with us lol should be an eye opening experience for her

IndoubtGASIT, I'm in for this weekend at least one day. Saturday is looking to be a good day. I'll check with Rooster also.

Sounds good to me WestMont. Might be hard to take a fresh foot and sunshine:face-icon-small-hap

sounds tough but someone has to do it so it my as well be us. lol

ragin, we most often never know where we're riding until we're unloading but there's a good chance we'll be seeing ya Saturday.

Anyone know if there's still any good riding in the southern part of the bitterroot. Finally have my 800 put together but don't want to take it very far if ya know what I mean?

Thanks

I haven't been south this year, but I'm guessing if it's anything like anywhere else, it's holding out pretty well.
