lol yeah ive seen that before..crazy. the wind likes to blow on this side of the mtns ha ha. im suprised none of Schellenger's conveyors or anything didnt get blown over about a month ago. they left a bunch of stuff at one of their gravel pits they dug. they clocked 145mph winds at the air port above town on the hill...then the cups on the wind deal blew off lol. the hoots recorded 160mph gusts between pendroy and depuyer lol.

Gramps is doin a lot better. he is up and walkin around a little but has to use a caine and a support deal in his boot. goes to PT every other day and keeps getin more and more strength back. he gets pretty tired quick(i think its from all the blood thinners) so hes limited to home for the most part...except for friday when my grandma was in town lol. he hobbled out to the tractor and somehow crawled up in it and graded part of their driveway lol. i took him out to the ranch yesterday evening to look at the fences with him and he really enjoyed getting out. luckily i had my .22 with me so i let him knock off some gophers while we cruized around. i could tell it made his day. all in all he is making good progress and things are lookin good!

Glad he's doing better. That cane could come in handy shooting gophers. Might work better then shooting sticks. lol

I still need to check the video's out but great pic's Jesse. One of the coolest places on earth right there. Sawyer said he was headed back there also but I had to make a trip to Boise. Really wish I could have made it too.

I always wondered if anyone has ever climbed the two chutes between the rock in frog cr (second video and last picture) and now I know. lol

I met up with Sawyer in there and we made the loop. He climbed the chute on the left and I got the one on the right in the last pic. I'll let you know if we get in there again Westmont.

No Relentless hasn't been out much lately, but I think a snobike is in the works for him.

Cool..... I don't know anything about snowbikes but starting to see more and more of them all the time.

True dat.... and has been know to jump further then the teacher before also.lol

Truth be known I ended up right behind X on said side hill that day the Spokane crew went into Surveyor on the X ride.
At the time the Idaho section was the most active section on Snowest and as a lurker (not stalker) of the thread I knew they were going in that day and for the most part had an idea of who was who by following the thread and also riding with some of the guys from Cda, Id. and Spokane in the past.
X may remember it different then I do but all in all he did well in the side hill section. I only remember him getting into trouble once. About the time his sled started off the trail he jumped off on the down hill side and was standing there holding it up from rolling over when I showed up. Didn't take us long to get him straightened out and he was on his way again.

.

That's about right. I just know bigbull had warned me about it so I had pysced myself out before I got to it....and then after getting my ace handed to me by a certain wide open hill that helped me try to wreck a borrowed sled I was dreading that section the whole way out. Once back at the truck having a beer though I realized it wasn't near as bad on the way out!

Nice of ya to sneak your gramps out like that Ragin. Next to sledding and fishing in MT my favorite thing I've done out there was driving around shooting gophers by Ft Benton. Never forget how a guy from WI with us shot one and it fell down the hole....he was dead set he had got it and we said he hadn't. Crazy fool ran out and was armpit deep in the hole before our friendly local driver informed him he was in the middle of a snake den area:face-icon-small-sho But to his credit the guy pulled out one dead gopher.

well i finally got off my a$$ and tore my motor out for the 3rd time this year lol. GOOD NEWS! pto crank bearing took a ****. put the crank on center on a lathe and crank run out was .0015"-.002" and checked all other bearings and all bearings seem to be good! i already have a new piston and just need a $30 bearing and ill be ready to rip...again lol. when we poped the plate off the seal we found this lol

Ragin,
My edge did that one time and it was the best feeling in the world when I tore into it expecting to find pieces and it turned out to be just a bearing!! Get her back together and lets ride!
