Not to worry, it is really a vast improvment over the old seat in terms of sitting and "feel" its just the zippers piss me off....I have a fix as well..lol...easy to do. I drilled a .050 hole in the little end and replaced the tab clip with a little piece of .040 safety wire.. You will like the seat other than the zippers...

Look at the brite side if u hate it ill buy it from you for 100 bucks as a spare....lmao


broke the lower steering post so in the process of taking half the sled apart to replace it...haha

2XM3, I seen you posted in general about the quality of the stitching and zippers on your new seat and had to poke fun at ya for not posting sooner.

I was on the fence about getting one for quite awhile and just ordered one a couple days ago. After reading your post my first thought was I wished I hadn't ordered it but it's to late now.

What type of seat are you getting?

Well finally got the sled done hoping for a shakedown ride this weekend hoping we get some snow. Is the snow any good around fuji or back side of moose loop or beaver probably headed that way

I'd say your best bet is to head up to Beaver, find some more shaded slopes with trees, and you should find some decent snow. One easy way to asses the avy danger is is the visual evidence of cracks. We saw some on the protected slopes, weird conditions to say the least....

Called BOSS no problem they will put a new cover on the seat with all the updates at the end of the riding season for 50 bucks and give us a coupon for 100 bucks off the next seat we buy...so all is good....

OH anybody who has one...CALL BOSS and give them your info so they have a record of it !!!

Well I pulled my motor out. Nothing seems to be wrong. But I think it is time fore some new rings and pistons original pistons on a 99 mtn max. Not bad for running it hard. I think it was a electrical problem. Will investigate. Hey Ragin what did you find out on your clanky noise?
