eh

eh

Are ya the new owner of a long tracked Rush WingNut?

?

Don't know yet, but I'm guessing the new Poo's are gonna look pretty close to that, I could make that work......

How was the initial ride??????

Polaris broke down never heard of that.

nah lol...ive been working for once and i was too hung over today and didnt feel like moving lol...tomorrow i gotta go help a buddy get his sled out....damn polaris and their chitty cranks, it snapped right in half i guess.

I thought those polaris never broke down lol. Well good luck on towing it out. I hope it was on the road. My cousin is working on putting a 1010 D@D motor in his 09 Rev. That out to really go. He is going to have to make his own motor mounts. But he is excited to put it in. Going to try to use the factory exhaust though.

well the extraction went well today. it was on the trail thankfully. damn polaris cranks....

Well as for the initial ride .......

First the snow report on Lolo Pass isn't looking so good right now. Still need to watch out for hidden objects. To sum it up it's about like early snow conditions as far as depth, set up like spring conditions on top (sounds like a good base), but the base layer is "LOOSE" and unstable in some areas. One area just above a main groomed trail (South end of Moose Loop near the tee in the road) we stopped and when a rider started up his sled (noticed on maybe a 30 degrees south slope with heavy tree coverage) the whole area around us would shake from the vibration of the running sled. After the rider returned and came to a stop (about 6-8 ft away from me) I could feel the snow move a bit. I can live with low snow conditions, spring snow conditions, but the loose snow conditions not so much. What makes it hard is not all areas were like this.

And as for the maiden voyage all went pretty well with the exception of a few details needing worked out and losing the snow flap right out of the gate. I bought a aluminum tube type bumper with a snow flap bracket and the bracket seemed a bit flimsy but it was all I had for the day and I figured it would make the day and then I would fix it but I was wrong. It didn't make it very far before getting ripped off. Other than that everything else went well.
I have a few things needing addressed with learning to ride without the stabilizer bar being high on the list. Worked on adjusting shock pressures to try and help out the situation. The engine ran good. After I get a few more miles on it I'll start tweeking on it.

It sure was good to be out though and thanks again go to Ross and Rod.

Hayden, Adam was saying Dave broke his crank. Thats a bummer. What's his plans. Repair or replace or does he know yet?

Yes poor Dave, broke crank and im guessin a rod as well...probably a mess..:(

Snow was good up at Seeley today.
We had GOOD powder up from about 6500 to 7100 feet today up at Elsina. Spud you remember when we took you and Ruth in there? We hardly stayed on the roads and went cross country most of the day. Tons of boon'n. :)

We had bluebird skies and new 2010's to ride.
I spent all day jumping between a Dragon, M8 and an XP.

NICE day.

WNR, It looks like I'm headed to Cooke Thursday and coming back Sunday. Shock tuning and knock the rust off weekend.

ragincajun, let me know when you get paid. lol All kidding aside I will keep the spare as long as I have the edge chassis.

Hey Bill, I think 6-7 total. A couple of us from Msla, a few from Blgs, and a couple from Belgrade. A couple others set the plans and I'm in for the ride. We'll be staying at the Antlers.

Scott

How did ya get hooked up like that??? Which one did you like the best???

Johnny, headed to Cooke,,,, nice, if you guys run out of secret spots, just ask Bill, owner of the Antlers, to take you out..... You know who he is, right???
