No word yet on if the Poker Ride is still on or if its going to become an ATV ride.

Hoodoo area

We're looking at heading in the direction of Hoodoo (St. Regis) in a few weeks- any information out there as far as what the riding is like?? Haven't been there before- any info would be helpful.
Thanks!

Hoodoo riding

Drew the avy danger is high and the snow isn't that deep. Stumps.

I was thinking the same on the avy danger. I looked at a snow report on the web and said they only have 54 inches. Doesn't look good were are we supposed to go riding? Is it worth going up to seeley.

elsina

Snow was good up at Seeley today.
We had GOOD powder up from about 6500 to 7100 feet today up at Elsina. Spud you remember when we took you and Ruth in there? We hardly stayed on the roads and went cross country most of the day. Tons of boon'n. :)

We had bluebird skies and new 2010's to ride.
I spent all day jumping between a Dragon, M8 and an XP.

NICE day.

Hey Scott talked to someone who had friends go up to elsina on monday and said it was hard as a rock. So were is the powder. Maybe the didn't get to go ride high enough were you went. Snow sucks this year.

It WAS hard down below..but once you go above the warming hut the snow started to deepen and soften.

We carved lot of doughnuts on Elsina and Dinah.

elsina/dinah

Hey scott-where is elsina/dinah in reference to st. regis? is it worth the drive? Avy danger @ hoodoo? is it really steep in that area? We're looking for some good boondocking and some hillclimbing, nothing too major. I'm sure these are dumb Q's but just don't know the area. I hope we get some good snow by presidents day. Thanks guys

HooDoo is steep and you have to ride the cornices in there to get back to Steep Creek where it's legal to ride.

AND Avy danger is high right now.

Elsina is by Seeley Lake...right out of town. It's about 2.5 to 3 hours from St. Regis.

ha ha

What do you guys think of a 2011 Doo 800r E-TEC:D

With a TURBO:eek::eek::eek:

I think I made up my mind:D

oooohhhhhhh,,,,,, I get shivers just thinkin of it!!

turbo doo

My cousin was working with boondockers with his 09 600 e-tec. Never got it running good last year burned it up twice. He was riding with the owners of boondockers so it wasn't like he didn't know what he was doing trying to get it to work right. Wether they figured it out I don't know. But if they got it going It would be awesome.

Wing, what do you make of the XP chassis?

I've got lots of saddle time on them and I just cannot get used to the way they carve and sidehill.

Going from the Dragon or M chassis to REV or XP...I just can't figure them out. WAY different.
