You may have noticed we’ve been quiet regarding the situation at Arctic Cat. Since our last release almost two months ago we’ve been monitoring the status of what appears to be a deal in progress. However, we do not want to get ahead of what’s really transpiring.
In our last writing we announced ARGO, makers of legendary 4, 6 and 8 wheeled Extreme Terrain Vehicles, ATVs and SXS, was definitely in play to ultimately acquire Arctic Cat. We haven’t said more than that...

Just speculating, but…. Probably not many. Hoping folks here can verify that to be wrong. How many U.S.companies own companies in China?
I'm not sure if there truly are any. It might be that some companies own manufacturing subsidiaries, but I don't know of any specifically. I do know it's far harder for a foreign company to fully own and control a company in China than vice versa. Mostly, companies contract with Chinese manufacturers - short-term and long-term - and leave the load of dealing with the CCP to them. I'd be disappointed if Cat ended up owned by a Chinese company (because it's impossible to do business there without kowtowing to the CCP), although it might not make a difference in where most of the sled comes from. Plenty of Chinese parts on all our sleds, unfortunately. How many U.S.companies own companies in China?
First they don't "own" them, more or less contracted. Plus these are all for sales in China. They do not come back over here. They do from Canada and Mexico, but not China. You can get China made cars, but more or less small and junk.Tesla has huge factory in China as does GM. Tesla sells more cars in China than here. Buick is huge in China as well
