Arctic Cat sale

We had 3 or 4 turbos in our group for a few years and now we’re down to one. The guy still on the turbo is 400+ lbs so for him it just puts him on a level playing field with the rest of us. One guy went from his last two sleds being turbo’d to a 450 snow bike.
He weighs 400 pounds? Is his middle name Yamaha?

The 858 is a good sled. I am CEO (assuming we are still playing that game) at least 2 more, possibly up to 4 more years of refinement and BNG. Not that familiar with the dirt line, but same thing. Would be wonderful it you could sell at a price point similar to CFMoto. Turbo later. Can’t say I have seen the stats, but I expect more NA sleds sold then turbo’s. Do what you are doing well before you add. Start acting like a snowmobile company and not a military contractor.

I heard a rumor that factory turbos might be going away. Cost too much lately for warranty work on them not very reliable. (Local poo, doo dealer). Said rumor was they were looking at big bores in replacing turbos. Obviously aftermarket turbos will be available for those that want them. But who knows. Also cat has had a turbo patent for a few years. Not to mention their 4 stroke turbo. So it’s possible next year if the new owners go for it. Lots of costs.

Yeah thats a shiddy rumor, I would keep that one to yourself.

Both the turbo systems and motors are excellent and work near perfectly. Doo needs to get the clutches running cooler and be sure that guys are aware that over rev and backfire will destroy reeds. Polaris needs to (I think they have now) address some quality issues with wiring and get the ejecto clutch figured out (failure rates on the boost nothing like the 9R).
