today 4/18/14

Today we went up towards jefferson from the parking lot at blue creek. lots of snow up high still. We only rode for a few hours because it began to snow really heavily. Tomorrow (4/19) should be an amazing day up that way for anyone looking to ride. We are thinking we will try again next week, too. Looks like there is still a month of riding left up in the island park area as long as it doesnt get too warm.

While we are on the downside from the peak a few weeks ago, there is still a TON OF SNOW on the mountain!

BUT BEWARE.
Once we cross over into the downhill side of the slope, it goes away BLAZINGLY FAST as you can see from last year.
Chances are this next week will be the tipping point where the temps start climbing and the snow starts melting FAST.
