Hyfax Rail Fastener

The hole in the rail for the anti stab isn't centered on the 24 the same way as it is on the 23s - the tip hole does not line up with the rail hole and if you Dremel it out, you get a oval shaped hole with only a millimeter of plastic supporting it. It's sketchy. Have you actually done this install?
See pics, it fit right on on my 24's. Maybe yours was drilled wrong from the factory?

After some thought on the push back of my congratulatory post.
Why did I congratulate IceAge on a job well done? It’s a feat that you don’t see in manufacturing today.
This thread started Dec 11. There may have been earlier social media posts about a hyfax issue as well. By my calculations that was 12 days ago today.
As a business, you have to make a call if this is an isolated case or is it a production model issue. Will it financially be worth my time and capital to render a fix?
The time it takes to get dies cut to manufacture any plastic part in any quantity is a feat in itself. (The rail cap looks like it’s die formed)
Let alone get a firm production date.
Tom has been working on a, simple fix, for over a week. He owns his own shop. Sourcing and the shipment of simple parts has been time consuming.
Let that sink in. It’s worth a big slap on the back.

That’s understood.

It’s just IDSpud making a jab at Polaris’s craftsmanship……..

And the fact that you said they are equal.

Nothing against Tom or Nick…..

Ice age has always sold quality parts.

Even when selling to Polaris, they can only provide what they are told too.

You missed the joke Tony, no pushback from anyone!

After more thought.
I have a conspiracy theory.
The rail tip changed for 2024. They moved the anti-stab axel up changing the rail configuration.
The model year ‘22 and ‘23 rail cap wouldn’t fit🤦🏼‍♂️realizing it when they started production.🤷🏼‍♂️ We need a new cap. Oh boy this is going to cost us $1500 a sled if we don’t get them shipped. We will deal with it later if it’s a problem.

Is the actual extruded rail profile different on the '24 requiring a different size anti-stab wheel and rail end cap?

Been playing with my kids today,

To clarify as mentioned,
I was acknowledging the compliment and the craftsmanship, I was knocking using Polaris as a compliment. It’s their issue, so calling me Polaris would piss me off if I was fixing their stupid.

I also in no way know your family situation, was another general joke they kids usually think their parents or anyone are assholes if given backhanded subpar praise.

“Hey you did awesome, it’s like your sister did it…….”

PS
Don’t care what you ride, don’t feel my sleds superior to anyone’s, just calling Polaris’ last couple years the way most riders see it.
