......"The truth" ..........you haven't posted anything more than simple vague statements on this forum since this all started.....stop regurgitating statements you have heard over at the shop and let it go. Life's too short to dwell on something so petty.
I guess you just simply can't understand that you have no credibility here anymore. Ever wonder why 95% of the people that post on your threads don't leave you glowing reviews? You think you are coming on here and making us "squeal" and ruffling feathers? Sorry to inform you - no one cares. Hope I didn't burst the bubble. When I log off I don't give this place a second thought for the rest of the day. If you think you've "got" to people with the use of some stupid internet forum....truly sad if that's what motivates you.
Honestly lhf - I feel sad for you, seriously. You seem to get your kicks from dragging someone else down, and there is so much more to life than some school-yard "he said, she said" argument. If I get hit by a bus today while crossing the street, I want to be remembered as a person who helped others, not someone who harboured hatred.
Whatever your beef with Ted is, only you will ever know. Frankly - the rest of us don't care. Your continual dragging of him "through the mud" has just become tiresome and unsolicited. Yep - he's made some mistakes (according to some members of the forum), but I don't think we are getting both sides of the story (and I don't want to be involved), just let him work it out with his customers. The boys with the sleds in his shop will tell their tales good or bad, its on Terra Alps shoulders to keep his customers satisfied. If he doesn't, we will know without a "3rd wheel" telling us.
We got the point that you don't like him, just let it end there.
I have no biased love for Terra Alps, he's just another guy IMO, his sleds look nice, never seen one run but some people seem to have good luck with their's - so he must be doing something good. But you need to know that I also have no respect for Mountain Magic as well now (my assumption is that they are aware of your "promoting" on the forum for them - maybe they aren't). I have purchased there in the past and had good dealings, however, a shop that would be associated in any way with the continual degradation of someone's livelihood (even the competition and in whatever manner he operates his business is his issue) is poor business ethics IMO. I know MM does good work and they build nice sleds, but I'm sorry, I won't be back until they pull back on the leash (so to speak). If the roles were reversed, I would be saying the same thing in regards to someone continually bashing MM.
I'm just an outsider looking in - and don't see the need for business to be conducted this way. The good ones will survive based on word of mouth, the bad ones will not. There is no need to continually and formally degrade a business if you have not been personally wronged by them. Its just tacky. Remember - what goes around comes around and people will remember the bad things long after they have forgotten the good things. All shops can make mistakes.
If there's a fundamental part of the story I am missing here, pls feel free to PM me and bring me up to speed. I'm tired of the re-hashing of the same stuff in a public venue. This just isn't helping anyone.
