Hey my wife is a teacher and yes they do say the pledge everyday and it still says One nation under GOD!!!!! The only thing that has been taken out of school is public prayer, and that should be put back in. Who agrees with me on that one?

And that was BS. When i was in class, me and a few friends would refuse to say the pledge due to the under god part. I did dam good in my classes, and the "christian" teachers marked us down and it was obvious....my science teacher loved it though....imagine that!

I guess I looked at them as being the same thing just different forms. I would choose freedom of the mind before freedom of the body.

you would equate puritans(past) and communists(also past) as equal? words escape me.

the founding fathers were not puritan separtists. funny those men are the ones who helped you have the right to chose "freedom of the mind." i would in no way support any "religion" that would strong arm you or anybody into anything. those are general terms of condition obviously.

Yah, I guess I was thinking Mayflour = founding fathers, but that was a bad assumption on my part, the founding fathers came later. So you are right that the founding fathers were not all puritan separitists.

Holy wars have gone on for hundreds of years, (middle east) if you forgot. they will never stop and that will be the end result of man kind, some day. Yes, you are responsible as all others are too. if everyone gave up on the religion communitys the war would end, but that is not ever going to happen. this thread could go on forever and i am done with it. believe what ever you want, because yes you are free to do as you please.

ps why does the easter bunny lay eggs, what is inside them. i have never seen one before but people say he exists??????????
