My dad did.
His hunting days were over a long time ago. He has one of everything and no where to hang anything else. I grew up on wild meat. So I'm not so wild about it now. But my dad's neighbor got him an elk tag because he wanted my dad to get out and hunt with him. And he got one a couple nights ago. He is so excited. The story of his night is to long for me to write. So here is the short version in one sentence. He went out alone in the evening, got his elk, went back home to get my mom to help, she called a couple friends, it got dark, they almost got lost, my mom fell in the creek, dad had to pull her out, got the elk gutted, and went back the next morning to haul it out. Short story eh? My dad is 64. I think getting this elk made him feel 10 years younger. I'm so proud of him. And a big thanks to Adam/AKA/mtnpull/AKA/Legend... My mom and dad wouldn't have got it done without your brother. Thank you! They appreciate you guys a ton!!! Here are pics of my dad's elk. Not to bad for a old guy hunting by himself. He said the biggest one he had ever seen in that area.
