Forum Expert 9R review

Since it's obvious that you think you are much smarter than me... I'm curious as to why is it that you choose to live in a crappy place like Federal Way, be a less capable snowmobiler, and a much less successful person than myself? That doesn't seem very smart at all. ??‍♂️ I really couldn't imagine how much better my life would be if I was as smart as you Rusty! I do know my belts would at least last 300 more miles!

Don’t take this forum seriously? Right. If you were smart, you’d know the entire Puget Sound is one big $hit hole not just Felony Way. That entry was from 2006?
I’m truly sorry you’re so offended that I won’t ride with you. If you were smart, you’d know I am doing you a favor by declining since I can’t ride and seem to break many sleds, and body parts. It’s been a rough couple weeks. Count your blessings. The 9R is the real deal. So is the turbo Doo. Still need a booster in the stable.

I just need you to come teach me how to set up my sled since you know it all. Until then I will be stuck on my crappy stock set up.

You only say that because you haven't ridden this sled yet. This thing is Quick. I put 100 miles on mine between 6 and 9K feet and it does not need a turbo. It has instant throttle response you can't get with a turbo

Apparently Polaris has built the only NA motor that doesn't lose 3% of it's horsepower for every 1000' you go up in elevation. I can't wait for my son's 9r 165 khaos to show up some day so I can ride this magical machine. Until then I'll ride my too heavy boost khaos 155 (which by the way is the most fun sled I have ever been on).
Also I don't notice a lot difference between my boost and my buddies na 850 matrix khaos as far as response after installing Indy dans p85 clutch kit on my boost. The 9r is going to have to run darn good at 10,000' for me to give up my boost.

I have a boost as well, all I'm say is this sled is fun, and I like it better than the boost. I love the boost top end power, but you really should try one of these before you judge it.

What clutching do you have in your boost?

I orderd bikeman weights and the torque link. I will put them in this week. I'm not impressed with the stock clutching.

I could care less about losing some power at 10K, these machines are still incredibly capable at 10K elevation and many of us still prefer a na even though we sacrifice some power because we have decided it’s more fun for us more of the time. Some feel differently and that’s why we have choices and wow what incredible sleds we are riding these days!!

You already know my fee and my schedule is filling fast. No free lunch Chilly. I’d expect someone more successful than myself to know that?
Quit whining, show some leadership skills and get your 9R forum expert thread under control.

Why do you have to choose. It's America, you can have both.
My 155 kaos boost felt the same as 165 kaos as far ss weight and feel. 850 has better response in stock form.only thing i did was put 66s in it. 9r in stock form is supposed to be substantially better than 850 seat of the pants.
Nobody is saying the boost is too heavy. They are heavier. You can feel it. No matter what you do you can't make the boost as light, ride as light or have the response out of the hole as 9r. There is also no way the 9r will have the legs the boost will. Especially at elevation.

I'm not choosing I have a 165 khaos 9r ordered for my son, my daughter has a 22 850 155 pro, I have a boost khaos 155, and also have a 650 khaos 146 ordered for a spare. My wife is still riding her 21 850 pro 165 until she figures out what she wants to order for 24.
I just find some of these posts laughable.
