I like drinking, and trust me I love to have fun and I am not going to sit hear and say that I have never done anything against the law because I have. At least I don’t endanger anyone while I do it. I will turn anyone in for a DUI or DUID because that **** just pisses me off. Driving by me under the influence is no different than pointing a loaded weapon at my face or family.

Anyone who does that **** should burn in hell. Either a bowl or a beer, it’s still the same.

Cheers Skinner, Turbo, PJ, thomps, and IOwnYou! :beer;:beer; You are welcome in my home anytime! J-Fly you are welcome to join the meth heads on the other side of town! ;)

Cops, avoid them like the plague, can't tell the difference between a good one and a bad one till it's to late, most all look the same, nothing but attitude. Fifty two years old, every experience I have had with one has all been bad.
Teach my kids to avoid them like the plague, teach them nothing good can ever come from an encounter with one. Think long and hard before you ever dial 911, make sure you want to be victimized all over again.
Driving down the road see one within 1000' of me pull over and won't move another inch till he is out of sight. Won't socialize with em. Won't go to a house party if I even hear of one being there. Can't trust em an inch, they will lie to you, treat you like dirt, threaten you and then demand respect. They usually have an IQ of less then average and come equipped with a "small man" syndrome.
The down side to my experience is odds are there are a few good ones, it's just not my job to sort them out. my.02
avoiding them is easy...just follow the law (well, that's the case most of the time)

i have got a a dui i thanked the cop (even being under the old limit but above the new) cause i was breaking the law, i paid my dues and dont drink and drive anymore.

j-fly come on you drive under the influence of your prescribed drug, mister i dont hurt any one?

Jordan Kramer was stoned the day he got his learner's permit. Pulling out of his parking spot with a friend in the car, he hit the gas. Unfortunately, he'd accidentally put the car in reverse, and he struck the car behind him.

No one was hurt and the damage was minor, but that was just the beginning of Kramer's problems. The young man from California had multiple fender benders and countless more close calls. "The accidents were a direct result of getting high," he says. "They had to do with loss of concentration or slow reaction time. You're moving slower, but at the same time you want other things to move

Kramer is just one of many teens who have made the mistake of getting behind the wheel while high on pot. Nearly one in eight teens report mixing marijuana and driving, according to Students Against Destructive Decisions. Chances are, you've heard more about the dangers of drunken driving than drugged driving, because alcohol use is more common among teens. But "driving under the influence of marijuana is as dangerous as driving under the influence of alcohol," says Dr. H. Westley Clark of the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration.

Motor vehicle crashes are the leading cause of death for young people ages 15 to 20. That's why lack of driving experience coupled with the impaired skills and judgment that can result from pot use are a recipe for trouble. An estimated 38,000 U.S. high school seniors reported in 2001 that they crashed while driving under the influence of marijuana, according to data derived from the national Monitoring the Future survey.

and i have not left the couch or the bed in six days, i tried hard mon and today to not take them so i could go to work and at least do paper work, but i cant, so i am stuck onth couch, not out cruising around

Ive been driving high for 15 years and i havent killed anyone yet.

I believe YET is the key word. Would I be right stating that you don't have a problem with people driving drunk since it has nearly the same effects as driving under the influence of Mary Jane?

j, I can't even begin to tell you what a waste of oxygen you are. Do you really believe that we could live without laws? Police are PUBLIC servants, they are upholding the law. If you have a bad run-in, take down his badge number and file a complaint. If the guy is a total dick and gets enough complaints then it will come down on him. I've gotten a few tickets, and thanked the cop every time because I was breaking a law CREATED FOR THE SAFETY OF OTHERS ON THE ROAD. You would be amazed at how much better of a conversation it is if you talk to the officer like hes a person, and -God forbid- you actually thank him for being willing to go to work in order to find and arrest the scum of society.

If you are going to hate on police, then you need to hate on Firefighters, EMTs, neighborhood watch, and any other organization that does a public service for you. If you find that every cop in the department is "bad", then talk to the city council...if that doesn't work keep going up the chain. If someone treats you wrong, you should have the balls to stand up for yourself and get it corrected one way or another.

If you want to have a serious debate, take a lesson from Ruffy, at least he can back up his arguments with facts and well thought out responses. Oh and if you refuse to vote for a listed candidate you have the right to write in the person you would like to vote for.

For the record: pwnd, wtfpwnd, 1337, and any other leet speak that you think you know does not qualify as a response in a debate.

I just thought of a good quote for you from a movie.

"You need to get a filter on that brain-mouth thing".

i hope you only kill your self and no one else unless it is some of your pot head frinds. which in that case pile as many as you can in your car. SOONER THE BETTER!!!!

I wasn't going to post this thread but I guess I will. Being the civil libertarian I am and involved in civil disobedience fighting these clowns who are trying to destroy this country for over 40 years I will have to say there are many bad cops and there are some good cops and a lot of them in between. When you shake that hornets nest the hornets usually come out attacking. In the late sixties we had a couple who actually understood what we were fighting for and tried to help clean up the local police, of cource they did not last long in their brotherhood and were basically encourage to find other employment. At one point we actually were able to get a Sheriff in office, because he was a democrat, he immediatelly proceeded to clean up the department and within a few months managed to release more deputies than the last 2 sheriffs before him. He also put the federal government on notice he was the law enforcement officer in the county and any service they wished to serve had to go through him, he did know and conversed with sheriff Mack. Of course the local Demos made sure he was gone on the next election by illegal means, for which he won a court decision in a civil case.
I have had several confrontations with sheriff and state patrol and I have fought them all the way to the state supreme court.
I would say most were polite and as they say "just doing there job" a couple commended me for my stand but still "did their job" and a couple were definately jack booted facists who should never have been alloewed to be on the force, one of which was on a swat team action that broke into a family's home in the middle of the night and he shot the mother as she walked down the hallway trying to see what was going on. The raid was later shown to be illegal. So I am not entirely in support of the law enforcement community but I will support those who actually believe their oath to support the constitutuions of the US and the state of Washington. With that said My favorite Niece is one of the most decorated seargents on the Long Beach, Ca. police department and would probably be in total agreement with MPS.
Swampy:eek::D:beer;
