Not sure on the laws in CO. but every state that I am aware of, it is illegal past a certain BAC. Age limits have gone from 21 years down to as low as 18 that I know of for sure. It didn't stay at 18 long before incidents of accidents by those 18 - 20 drove it right back up again. These are actually real experiences, not "I heard it from a buddy" crap. It happened late 70's in the midwest. And fortunately I lived through it ......

i think the drinking age should be moved to 18 so i agree with you in a way, i have seen drinking and drugs ruin the lives of five of my siblings, and many crimes are related to such abuses

Drug abusers consistently abuse their kids and there is a direct correlation! I have gone into hundreds of crap holes and have seen parents coming off a meth high passed out....and children are walking around feces and eating mac and cheese left out on the stove from a week ago. You have no clue! None!

As far as underage drinking.....minors don't have the same rationale as adults....that is why they cannot enter into legal binding contracts. Alcohol affects them very differently also! You have no clue! You are completely self serving!

I'm not trying to generalize McDonald's employees at all....my point was there are a lot of individuals that work at fast food establishments that have been in trouble with the law. I was a parole officer at one time and a very high percentage of my caseload worked at fast food places

Like I said....was not stereotyping or generalizing....but the fact is a lot of felons/criminals work in these places.

I think we can all agree though that there are cops that are great at doing their jobs; holding up the laws. Unfortunately the few corrupt ones ruin it for the rest. I know some great ones but have also ran into some that have tried to burn me (should have taken that ******* to court for slander). Overall though...I've had positive experiences working with LE.

I dont think the people working at the fast food window were doing anything illegal. I dont like cops because its their job to write tickets, and arrest me.

WTF? No one likes a cop that writes them a ticket, but i bet you would like a cop to be around to resesitate you, to help you out of a totaled vehicle, to pull over that drunk driver before he kills you or your 5 year old daughter or wife, or any loved one or ……anyone.

The reason cops pull over people for tail lights out, super dark tinted windows, driving 5 miles over the limit E.T.C. is because there is a slight chance that they may find some child molesting, murdering, raping, drug dealing SOB, and they have a better chance of catching one in a car with something already illegal on it.

There is only one thing i hate more than tree huggers, and thats substance abusers! J-Fly, i hope you get cought with some weed and get your punishment at the end of a cold hard C0(K when your in prison.

for the record he was not profiling imo but saying that there is a large influx of criminals from his experience, later he said he knows thats not all there is but that it stands as a possibility from what he knows that it could be a criminal trying to get "even", not doing anything more than the lib media did to the officer.

i am a good person to ask on this i have a long record was on paper from 16 till 24, couple under age drinking things, speeding driving without a license, then some cops wanted to try and teach me a lesson and i didnt think that was ok with me. they called friends and they arrested my entire family, it was a big mess, that is the really short version. for about a year i couldn't see a cop without having a panic attack. i have 2 uncles that are cops one state and on sheriff, i have not talked to the sheriff since a month after when he was bragging to me about screwing with inmates. the other is a great officer and just got back from his second tour. a member of swat and the reserves

i hate dirty cops. and i want to know the charges not some liberal bs rag making accusations, thats what got our country all messed up to start with

*Note* I am married to a Deputy and one of my good friends is a cop. While my wife can be a major PITA sometimes I don't hate cops for it. I attribute that to some whacko hormones. I have had my fair share of law enforcement (traffic infractions) but those were State Patrol and they are a different animal than regular police officers. I certainly don't hate all cops because of them.

Cops, avoid them like the plague, can't tell the difference between a good one and a bad one till it's to late, most all look the same, nothing but attitude. Fifty two years old, every experience I have had with one has all been bad.
Teach my kids to avoid them like the plague, teach them nothing good can ever come from an encounter with one. Think long and hard before you ever dial 911, make sure you want to be victimized all over again.
Driving down the road see one within 1000' of me pull over and won't move another inch till he is out of sight. Won't socialize with em. Won't go to a house party if I even hear of one being there. Can't trust em an inch, they will lie to you, treat you like dirt, threaten you and then demand respect. They usually have an IQ of less then average and come equipped with a "small man" syndrome.
The down side to my experience is odds are there are a few good ones, it's just not my job to sort them out. my.02
