A buddy pm'd me and asked me to clarify all my ramblings...
Nightly room rates will work out to be:
Motel room: $80.10
1 Bedroom cabins: $112.50
2 Bedroom cabins: $152.10
We're collecting deposits to reserve the rooms:
Motel room is a $50.00 deposit
1 Bedroom cabin is $75.00 deposit
2 Bedroom cabin is $100.00 deposit
Add 3.9% motel tax.
Deposits should be* refundable up until January 1, 2009.
We need to pay a $673.20 deposit by August 15 to hold all the rooms, so if your pretty sure your coming please help out and pay your deposit now.
On January 1, we will need to finalize the number of rooms we need and pay half our lodging bill to SLO at that time.
We have the rooms reserved for the nights of February 13, 14, and 15. We should probably go with a two night minimum stay. If your looking at just one night, let me know and we'll try to work something out.
SLO has a restaraunt/lounge, large dining area, rental sleds, gas, and direct access to the trails.
SLO offered to have a breakfast buffet and at least one big dinner for us. They don't have a big kitchen or staff, so the buffet/limited dinner menu will probably get everybody fed the quickest. We'll probably have some barbeque's available and do an afternoon BBQ on the snow or something as well. We'll be raffling off some prizes and donate the proceeds to a sledding oriented organization (CSA, BRC, SAR etc.).
I put together an Excel spreadsheet of our reservations and finances and put a link in my signature.
Deposits can be sent to me, either by PayPal or personal Check. PayPal charges 3.1% for transactions, so please include the extra if you go that route. Send me a PM for my paypal or home address.
