Great 5 day trip at the Wild Skies cabin In Colorado but I have some issues/question

First I would like to sat thanks for all the help lately… sorry for the noob questions

2023 9R with all updates completed. The dealer and Polaris website says so 🤞🏻

First issue\ question:
I really like the 7S screen but by the end of the trip the altimeter and compass stopped working. Everything else works but those two items. I went all through the setting and everything on screen to try to trouble shoot. Has anyone else dealt with this and did you find a garage fix or had to take to the dealer? I will call Alpine/ Vohk tomorrow but figured I would ask here as well.

Second issue/ Question:
I have been off sleds for sometime besides an occasional rip on a buddies spare sled or rental from Colorado sled rental. Saying that I have been racing dirt bikes off road a lot and I ride with a finger on my brake and clutch lever. So that habit is hard to break as of right now and I must pull in the brake lever a smidge or maybe a lot which puts the sled into a limp mode. The limp mode got me into trouble a couple times in technical spots and I had some terrible stucks which were totally avoidable. So my question is if the update on the brake has happened should I still be going into limp mode when I feather the brake when on the throttle? Do I have an issue? Can I disconnect something on the brake so it doesn’t go into limp mode? I will get better with my brake finger but would like to figure this out. The fix is easy when it happens by just shutting off the sled for a couple seconds and firing it back up it is gone.

I also had the ‘25 clutch and bolt installed via recall. I put on a torque wrench before the ride and it was definitely a couple lbs short of 110lbs. Looking forward to installing the Carbon Sleds P-22 fix it kit parts I purchased this week.

UPDATE:
Sled thawed out in the garage. Downloaded the update to a flash drive and installed. Boom we are back in business and everything works! Stoked

Before I pull the brake fuse I am going to work on my riding style and install a 3D Logik V2 adjustable brake lever. See if adding some play in the brake lever will help me out as well. We shall see this weekend!

Have your dealer update to the 2025 map. Way more forgiving than previous years. I can't remember the specific criteria but the PdM for Polaris talks about it in Turcottes video about the '25s
I will call my dealer tomorrow! Thank you!
I am definitely going to search YouTube to find that Turcotte video.

Found it at 24:25 of the video. I wonder if that’s only for the boost? I pray it’s for the 9R

I would guess its for both but cannot personally confirm.

If your dealer tells you they can't update the tune to '25, they may not know how to do it. I can't find it any more but seemed to be a snag with some dealers who could not figure it out.

Just take the brake lever off. Weight reduction and you really don't need it.
