So i just sent a text to a buddy who works for camoplast tracks and as of a week or so ago he already had over 600 miles on his 13 pro!! I am pretty sure that means he has at least done two to three track swaps on it so he should be getting a pretty good look at the drive shaft. I will post any info he passes along to me. ** Side note he had two pros last year with over 6000 miles on them with zero problems.**

Come on, your taking all the fun\complaining out of the thread if you DARE say the sleds are dependable. Good grief, it is universally known the Pro is a pile.:face-icon-small-dis:face-icon-small-dis It really needs to SNOW. There are way too many people with way too much time\compalining on their hands. ME INCLUDED.:face-icon-small-ton:face-icon-small-hap HAHA

The Pro is a pile...I love that. Crazy how many people are buying them. I have had good luck so far with a 2011 and 2013 (33 miles on mine!). I understand there are issues and that's why I read these threads. I'm really hoping that the drive shaft isn't a serious problem because that's not an easy pull out. I guess it would just be great if we got good concrete information w/o all the BS that is flowing here. Pipe dream.

Everybody better sell their 13s now before the resale is like the 12 pc!:face-icon-small-sho

Resale on 2012 PC800 and 2012 Pros are almost identical despite the first year issues with the Cat. Mostly because everyone owns a Pro now so the market is flooded with folks selling 12's to buy a '13.

I was being sarcastic. I own 3 Pros. Have had extremely GOOD luck with them. NO PROBLEMS other than the small stuff on my Turbo Pro, which is not related to POLARIS. Can't wait to ride the 2013. Gonna be a great year.

The solution is simple. Bring a small bottle of superglue with you while you ride. It pops out? No problem, just push it back in and glue it there! Good luck carrying welding equipment out when you break something welded ;)

small tube of superglue comes standard in the tool kit.

Buddy just sent me a text back, 727 miles and three track changes and drive shaft looks just fine!!!

727 miles already this season where has your buddy been riding? and if it was a prototype from last season its hard to compare to current production units....things can and do change from prototype to production

this is the same crap in the outboard world also mercury, yamaha, evenrude, johnson,. all of them have problems of some kind, pick the brand you like & go with it. My self I've had nonthing but Mercury outboards, & Polaris. You have to stay under warrianty, thats all their is to it .The sorry a$$ world is based arround the all mighty $. Not the quality of product.

Just thought about it, what if you were to take a driver and cut off the side ends with the steel strap, and press it over the end? I bet that would add enough compressive restraint to keep it in place? Would be a cheap fix for Polaris if a problem does surface? Mike

Today, first sledding

Its turbo'd too right realbass? Not that it matters, just for the record. But yeah I'm thinking they need to go back to the steel driveshaft. I don't understand how they don't have these issues on the prototypes, yet these models do.
