That is some incredible logic right there. Does the wind ever blow where you live? I realize that the public education system works very poorly but every day I seem to be reminded just how poorly it truly does.

I think that making a tune on your truck that is specifically made to smoke the chit outta people is too far. Thats not the way to stick to the tree huggers, why not make a tune that doesn't smoke and then when you pull up next to them in their little Prius then you can blow their doors right off.

Agreed but I will say that it was about the time that people started equating "tunes" with diesel perf is about the time this hobby went to chit. 90% of the people entering this hobby today could not do an injector swap or turbo install if their lives depended on it. By the way, just because you slapped on an intake and a big chrome exhaust tip, does not mean your truck is bombed. Neither does installing a "tune" or nazzzzzzz. DAs
You made a "tune" huh? Instead of wasting 20 mins doing that you should have been studying for your SATs so you could get into college and not be a DA for the rest of your life. I'd suggest stacking the efi with a ppe hot. Maybe you'll burn it down, sell it, and dad can buy you an accord or something with a big fart can and some nazzzzzzzz

Thats my POINT!!! I want to be able to have fun for many years to come in my truck but others doing stupid things with their trucks is going to cause me to lose my rights to do what I want..

The fastest diesel truck in the quarter mile blows NO SMOKE and is making huge power. Having to blow smoke these days just proves you know nothing about making power.It's old school to just dump way to much fuel to make power,some smart people have figured out how to make big power without all the smoke.
And to compare a truck puller to a daily driven truck is kind of stupid anyways...Your not tryin to make 3000 hp on the street...

Well unfortunately you will learn the hard way to take this serious when they outlaw aftermarket exhaust,chips, and all the other stuff we like to put in our trucks.
Don't think it will happen? It allready is back east,alot of states over there have laws against aftermarket mods and ALOT more laws are being passed as we speak.
I just hate to lose the right to mod my stuff over some people who think blowing smoke on others is cool.I am by no means a tree hugger(except when I hit one with my sled...
I hate enviro wackos as much as anyone.Thats why I hate seeing trucks smoke,they just use it against us.They are MUCH better at getting what they want and a truck that blows unnessary smoke just makes it sooooo much easyier for them to make a case against ANY mods to a truck..
