Oh and by the way Duke1n, you turning people in for a diesel rollin some smoke out of the tailpipe is not only a gay stab in the back to your fellow bombers, its also exactly what the greenies want...how exactly does that help when you turn someone in? It just gives the epa a leg to stand on...you turn into one of them. How does that "protect your hobby"? It makes you no better than the guy blowin smoke...actualy makes you worse because you are a coward and a nark for turning him in. You should stand up for the guy, not try to get him slapped with a fine.

I'd do the same. We have morons around here running around with loud pipes in designated quiet neighborhoods. Guess what? They shut down the trail because a couple people had to snap the throttle every time they went through the area. Don't think restrictions will tighten on bombers for abusing their privileges? Time will tell, but I'm going to bet it goes the same way that every good sport has gone in the past years. Tightening restrictions on hunting grounds, snowmobile grounds, lost trails to loud sleds, etc.

The fastest diesel truck in the quarter mile blows NO SMOKE and is making huge power. Having to blow smoke these days just proves you know nothing about making power.It's old school to just dump way to much fuel to make power,some smart people have figured out how to make big power without all the smoke.
And to compare a truck puller to a daily driven truck is kind of stupid anyways...Your not tryin to make 3000 hp on the street...

I'm not trying to be a jerk, but when someone threatens to turn me in and says all this other crap...come on...I cant beieve how up tight a lot of people are on here. i think when i tow 4 sleds to the mountain and ride them with my friends for 6+ hours multilplied times the number of people in every snow park across the country "pollutes" slightly more than your average bomber. and when your out snowmobiling your in country that society has barely touched. but the people with diesels that smoke during acceleration are polluting in areas already screwed. the term hypocrite comes to mind.

And you're correct, I apologize for calling you a douche, especially after the hillbilly comments that were thrown at you...those were a bit over the line. I would say that both of you are right. I mean it is your prerogative to blow smoke when you like...don't get me wrong on that. But I think that it is a little immature do just go around doing it. Not only is it costing you more money to drive your truck but its also pretty bad for the air quality too...and no, I'm not a tree hugger. I like my loud noises and smoke too, trust me. But there is a time and place for it and the main drag is not it. Now the goober tailgating is fair game in my book.
