Best Pro Performance Upgrade for money

being in shape would be good...not sure about being lighter...what if you were 120 lbs? think how much harder it would be to throw around your sled...and how much more your sled with throw you around

the only benifit i see to being lighter is hill climbing...and if your him climbing why are you on a pro rmk?

Lose fat and gain muscle.... Most of the time working out, getting in shape means you lose excess weight(fat) and then gain some weight from muscle. Say you dropped 40 lbs of fat and gained 15 lbs of muscle that's still 25lb weight loss lol..

im running a 11 pro with Dough Ruth porting cylinders decked Par head dynoport full exhaust good clutching and a 2.5 challenger extreme lite anti rachet drivers and compared to a stock sled it really rocks i came off a boosted m8.I was expecting a lot less but after riding a stock sled it really is impressive even a stock sled with a pipe and clutching i think is worth it jmho

Best performance a guy can get for his sled is getting rid of his hesitation! #1 reason why riders are stuck, they hesitate rather than grabbing a handful of throttle and throwing the sled around!

which generally is cause they are not in shape and are huffing and puffing and jumping over the seat and using body english is hard. Thing they dont realize cause ive done it my self is its MORE work to get unstuck than to just put a little more effort.

I need to lose some lbs ...... been biking 22km a day to a from work, No real big weight loss but my legs are super buff hahahah

Shocks
Clutching
Track
The Track is a little on the extra side. But makes a big differance over stock.

Cause it'sprobably the most fun capable sled for that and other types of mountain riding . Wow, I thought it was only engines you didn't understand, apparently you have a lot to learn about riding also.
This forum will be good for you, you'll be able to learn so much.

I was referring to the mind game. You do have a point on being in shape. these new sleds make a guy lazy anymore imo! try throwing a 550lb mtn max around all day, then jumping on one of these newer sleds for a hour, you don't have to ride as hard, the sleds are doing about 70% of the work now compared to 40% of the trailing arm days!

Just bought a 2012 pro with a brand new motor. First thing im doing to it is going to be putting in a TK Inc Dyno drive belt system. Little weight and way more efficient!

Hey RoffRider - let's play a game called go hide and f*** yourself. It's peeps like you who are ruining this 4M. We have lost way too many great riders/ people who have great experiences and information because of people like you. How old are you - 16? These 4M's were designed for good exchange of info that we can all benefit from. It just takes a few azzhats to ruin it.

i dont understand why everyone gets so upset...did i hurt your feelings before? are you a little sensitive or what? i really think why most people left this forum is because of the need to pay for a membership...if you are leaving a forum because there is a member you disagree with(keep in mind im not fighting with anyone)...well then...i dont know what to tell you...i suggest you stay inside and just watch tv...or read childrens books

I don't see why everyone is riding roff's ***????? IMO we need more people on this forum that aren't afraid to sleek up and call bull **** when we see it. Roff keep it up don't let any of them get to you. Oh btw this is the poster formally known as hostile!

I don't post a lot, usually just read. I happen to agree with Bigrock. If you have read all of this persons posts, it is getting a bit old. He makes statements and then called on to produce facts, he usually ignores and doesn't reply or makes comments that have no factual basis and trys to come across as all knowing. I enjoy reading different opinions from guys?gals that have ACTUAL EXPERIENCE. This guy has little if any at all and yet makes comments and statements based on hearsay, etc. I am all for a wide range of opinions and thoughts as long as they have some merit to them. His posts have a tendency to disrupt meaningful dialogue. Just trying to keep it real and hopefully, these posts can continue to provide valid information. I keep a very open mind and appreciate many of the 4M members and their contributions, but get tired of the people who post without good, solid information and EXPERIENCE. Just my .02 cents.

You may not like RoffRider and that's OK, but please keep your attacks to yourself and set up your account to ignore him. Looking at the post that several attacked, RoffRider made some good points, and attacked no one. His words and message in that post are perfectly reasonable.

Just like you or any other SnoWest member, he has a right to his opinion, and being a SnoWest member in good standing, he has a right to post about sleds and riding.

Regarding the quoted post, he also happens to be correct. The RMK with it's light weight and nimble handling may well be the best mountain boon-docking sled ever. And other slightly heavier sleds, with more robust engines & drive trains, may be the best for maniacal straight-up hill-climbing. What's to argue?
