Best Pro Performance Upgrade for money

Muffpot!

Sent from my SCH-I545 using Tapatalk 2

Yes, the pro is that good stock.

Maybe some storage solutions as well. I have a craigerbuilt quick release gas can on the back, a under the seat storage bag and I have a WPS goggle warmer bag under the hood that I really like as well.

What is the best bolt on performance upgrade for the money.

Pipe
Can
Stock ECU Reflash
Head
Reeds
Fuel Controller
Air box
Vents

Please post your opinions.
Honestly I doubt you could notice any of those items individually. As in none would allow the sled to do something it couldn't without. They are all just tinkering items that may/may not make it run SLIGHTLY better.

If you were going to do ALL of that....I would honestly put the money toward "bolting on" a turbo kit...

i would be confident about it...they actually show the dyno numbers and sheets...something slp doesnt do...plus bikeman isnt as conservetive about their porting as slp is

There's a very specific reason for that. You can manipulate dyno numbers all day long by going lean and is aggro porting worth it on a susceptible motor? Ask around as to how many users actually have over 1,000 miles on their Bikeman kits (non-Arctic Cat kits) with their fuel mapping. Like I said... good luck with that.

Have FUN!

G MAN

PS - SLP's integrity is stellar for a reason; they do things the right way with systems that rarely fail. Maybe erring on the conservative side isn't such a bad thing if you'd rather be riding than wrenching... :)

i know what 2 stroke porting is, bigger isnt always better, yes...i know that...but you can deffinitly go a little bit further than slp' porting if you know how to read egt gauges and know how to work an efi controller...which i understand isnt for everyone...but its deffinitly the way for me and the gear heads

lots a little things ad up to big things

Shocks
Clutching
Track
The Track is a little on the extra side. But makes a big differance over stock.

I have to go with a track and clutching. I've never been dissapointed in any sled going with those 2 improvements.

You forgot to mention something as simple as a Diamond S hood. There is a guy I ride with who runs a 2011 with a mesh hood, stock clutching and has blown everybody's doors off for the last couple seasons. It appears a little extra cooling and a little better breathability adds a lot to the Pro.

Carls Clutch package
Venting

Clutching & good venting made a huge difference on my Pro

MO. I did all the "little things" to my '13 Pro (first year on a Poo) because they are "no-brainers" on my last brand (just for weight loss lol).

I felt a difference but in retrospect, I would recommend stock with fuel controller (boony box if you know your stuff) and clutch-gearing it for your elevation in your first year.

Or just ride it stock (too weird eh lol). Amazing package. Many aftermarket companies are still chasing their tails trying to prove a real world performance gain measured by a few sled lengths on the Pro. A slight suspension adjustment can give you those gains in some situations.
Good job Poo! You built the first true mountain sled ever.

Why you have to make changes inside the sled, where nobody sees it? Just wrap it nicely - it`s noticeable!
