PS I want one

Nice crack. You still need to learn to spell.

Mike any testing done by your group on the integerity of the rear bumper?

I can state for a fact that in heavy wet snow and buried deep- 2 BIG guys reefing on the bumper to lift a stuck sled with a suspension filled with snow there is NO FLEX- NO concerns on a straight up pull....
Time will come to to test a rear pull and I hope it doesn't V on us....:clock:

I can tell you is that I have personally towed out sleds, from off-trail and on the trail with no problems. As a matter of fact it is the bumper in the update pic earlier in this post.

I have NOT tried a Bungie though, just an FYI

Cleaner?

Mike-
Could we rivet it from the inside like we did on the install of the bumper.
It would look alot cleaner to rivet from the inside-and into the hollow part of the bumper.

towed a sled with mine, an 05, and it squeezed the tunnel together in the rear, pulled the bumper into a longer V, I fixed it, but wouldn't want to fix it very often.

lookin to put this on my sled! But if it cant stand up to a bungee i think i might try something different. I really like how it looks and what it does but if i cant tow a ski-doo!!!!!!!!!! i mean a buddy out than why do it?

You could definitly rivet from the inside if you would like, it depends on the tools you have.

Really...

Interesting, when I towed the sleds I never noticed if the strap slid to the middle or not that may strech the V, the added supports we will be sending out should take care of that though.

yeah it slides to the middle.
the next time we towed, used the sled with the factory bumper, turned the broke sled around and tied the bumpers together, much easier to tow, and don't need a rider

heres some pics of the kickups. ssswwweeeeeetttttt!!!!!!

Mike, i just ordered the bumper kit this week. will this come with the new mounts with the update kit and everything or are you still sending them out??

We are just finishing packaging them today for shipment next week, we will be sending out Monday or Tuesday. If you ordered this week the bumper may or may not have the update kit, we do have record though.

Yours? Not sure, I am traveling, I can find out when I return to BDX this afternoon!

Mike

Mike, do you sell just the footwell braces or does one have to buy the whole kit?

just installed the bdx bumper kit, lots of room between bumper and cooler tube with a pry to put good quality 1/8 rubber for protection instead of silicone, also l cut old bumper off of tail/mud flap housing {some sanding required where old bumper meets in center where its hard to get flush cut}etc and trimed sides of old unit off and tapered and shortened mud flap, presto, bdx kit with a factory finish that you can still use stock tail light /mud flap assembly and not have the issues with needing the support kit, aawesome kit if you take the time to improvise on bdx basic install,ps thanks for all the posts etc that helped give all the different options..

l will do ,don;t know how exactly, what i may do once they are taken is get your email and send to you if i cant figure out to post them, will let you know, may take a few days as some late working hours..then you can post them for me..

skinner just look at the first pics on the first page, i cut the stock bumper and modded it to keep from loosing the support for the cooler. would suggest the led tailight, the stocker must weigh at least a couple of pounds. this is the best way i could think of keeping the rear of the tunnel from flexing and maybe cracking later on. the pro lite sticker works great for covering up the part of the bumper in the center you have to cut and sand.

skinner i figured how to post the pics

here are some angles...its been fun...just one of many many mods done and to come....
