Like you said, what you explained is a partial birth abortion, which is AFTER 4.5 months. I do not think they should be legal and in MOST states they are not legal.
No reason why an abortion can't take place <2 months, unless a mother's life is at stake, then it should be a decision made by HER (again) with the consultation of her CHOSEN doctor.

It is a shame because there are women that can't have children and want them, yet there are also women that terminate pregnancy because they don't want to have them.

I get the argument you are trying to make, but I think a poor but sufficient analogy is when you put down a dog because it has cancer in both of its back legs. Is that murder? No. Is keeping the dog alive so you can feel better about it right? No. The decision needs to be made with the so called victoms best intentions.
It is not murder for the same reasons why I called it euthanasia. The same argument between euthanasia and murder is the one you are making here. I guess it is not murder in the same way that when a soldier kills a soldier from the other side it is not viewed as murder. I don't know of a better way to put it.

She left home, hated her parents control, etc. Got pregnant and went home. Cried her eyes out with her parents, they said she could move in and raise the baby with them. For the first year of my 3.5 year old daughters life the only father figure she had was her grandpa. Both sides F'ed up, both sides realized it and came together for what was important.

I new it was a stretch when I said (typed) it. That was the first instance of where one living thing has saying over the life of another, besides for old people.
Good story and I am glad the way it turned out. But I worry when the story doesn't have a happy ending, and a child is caught in the middle. There was a knife edge that your wife was on, I don't think everyone in that situation has the maturity/responsibility that your wife has to do the right thing. Kudo's to her.

Aren't you glad your mother opted for life instead of obortion! Too bad all those children didn't have the chance to decide whether their lives are worth living. Your life is a product of your dicisions and should include personal responsibility! My wife and I would gladly give up our lives to save the lives of our children which started at conception. Only on judgement day will we know if these cop-outs will let you in or keep you out! For all you college kids, free always ends up costing more than if you earned it!

The leader of the free world should not have this much hate towards an ENTIRE race, just because a handful of people from this race treated him this way. If he is too dumb to figure out this was not a race that did this too him, he should not be in this position of power.
