2nd bent matryx tunnel.

Same thing happened to mine today knee hit first then my helmet
I guess we wear helmets for a reason……
Anybody have bolts in the front of there bumper from the factory?
Mine did not
The bumper is installed by the dealer not the factory. I would guess the force pulled your bolts out as they are tiny bolts or your dealer did not put them all in when bumper was installed.

That is good to know
I don’t think they got put in
I guess I’ll swing by and pick up the rest of the set up parts they didn’t use when I get a chance

Any drilling required for install? Rivets needed? Wondering as if the boost is all that it's cracked up to be, may get a boost next year and would move bumper to new sled.

Nice, that Backwoods BMP stuff is looking nice and beefy. I talked to CR Racing and they are going to start working on their Matryx bumpers, I had their tunnel cut kit on my AXYS and quality was top notch. My riding buddy has their rear bumper & tunnel stiffener on his Turbo Doo and loves it. Kinda wanted to see what they come up with before ordering from BMP. How long did it take for you to get it?

I can say the bmp bumper exceeded my expectations.

Extremely well packaged.
Cnc router cut pieces with tight fitting cutouts.
Backside of 1/4” thick side plates clearance routed for factory tunnel rivets.
Welds are good.
Powdercoating has no blemishes.

Sorry B&M fab……. This piece makes your bumpers look cheesy at best.

Looks nice. Heavy duty for sure.

BM Fab cheesy at best? They build beautiful stuff. Perfect welds. Packaged well. Plenty strong. Perfect fit.

Skinz= cheesy. BM Fab, not so much.

B&M fab 1/8” thick side plates = cheesy

Not clearance cut for factory rivets so it doesn’t fit tight to the tunnel = cheesy

Both B&M fab bumpers I bought had Powdercoating drips and hanging wire blemishes.

Don’t get me wrong.
B&M fab is great in comparison to T rex or skinz but BMP has really stepped up the quality……..

That bedliner= cheesy.
Oh you mean hammertone powdercoat on the grab piece so you don’t have your hands slipping all over the place? (One of the things i hated about skinz, Trex and B&M fab…..)

Ease up man I’m just happy there’s a better option available than the current “standard” (B&M fab has been the best in the past)

I’m just making people aware of new (better?) options.

I have zero connection to either company and paid retail for all my stuff.

Painted 5/8” grip range 3/16” diameter stainless rivets unfortunately don’t exist.

Countersunk holes and Powdercoated head torx drive machine screws would be a nice upgrade though.
