@Sheetmetalfab Did you notice the stamped 90 on the side plates? With this added I-beam design it should be more than sufficient in the torsional rigidity department. No?
This thread cracks me up. Everyone wants a lighter faster sled then bitches about it bending. For a cheaper price might I ad. It is nature of the beast. Maybe we should backup and ride an edge chassis see how that performs.
I saw they have that specific wording in there.
This shows they know the side plates are weak.
My previous 2 bumpers had the same 90 bent flange and bent sideways like butter.
One of them had the 1/8 side plates with a 1/4” bumper mount and it still crush twisted.

I really like the handle profile and multi piece design. lots of style and function. Also breaks down and there shipping is really nice because of it. Like 25 bucks for a bumper to MT.
The backwoods design looks massively beefy. should be a good option as well, I just dont like spending money with them.

I’ve seen bent ones with all bolts……
There will be "cut here and rivet this on" kits from the aftermarket if this keeps happening.
I ordered a rear bumper last night for a 165 Matryx Slash and was not able to use the Promo Code, " Pay Later" . I have called, emailed and left questions in their chat bubble and there is no response. How do they run a business well without communication??

You go ahead and call them yourself .. 207-219-8711 and listen. It says user Voicemail isn't set up. I order stuff after hours and on Sundays due to heavy work load on my part. I'd expect or hope a company would at least have a way to leave a message. I'm trying to buy a front bumper from them today but nope I can't talk to them or leave a message.

Then, when it goes out, they'll use the most reasonable shipping cost at the time and charge you. He figured around $35 to WA. To save more, they will double-up shipping if you have a buddy nearby. That's what I'm doing with a neighbor to split the cost.
