2023 cat. Where is it?

arctic insider made an uh-oh and had a picture of a 7000 model but pulled the article down and reuploaded it with a different picture and is denying the existence of a 7000 all together but myself and about 15 others commented that we know what we seen and it was woodies orange and black, had the slotted hood like the old 1100's
this one? Was kinda curious about that as well, couldn't remember what non-turbo 4 stroke they had still.

So the way arctic handles supply chain issues is that they for the third time in 4 years change how you spring order? First the released next year's sled really early, then Armageddon, and now some sort of preview/ride/order deal..

And nothing new, alphas are great sleds and they compete on a good level, but really it's hard to not be disappointed..

They delayed next year's ordering because they're worried about this year's supply chain issues, but are they doing anything to try and get ahead of next year's supply chain issues?

There's not really anything they can do about this year, but they could at least get parts orders in earlier to try to get a jump on delays for the coming model year

The next model is so far advanced that they haven’t even created the parts yet , only imagined. I think they are available to pre order in the meta verse.

The do production runs after summer, i assume its to not have production and sales in separate financial quarters. To do it differently requires more cash flow and higher returns to covered cost of liquidity, but if you ask me it's all pretty short sighted.. (based on assumptions). But I'm sure you could secure all parts for assembly runs fall 2022 if you order now.. procurement is a bitch for sure but not that bad ??

One thing I can say is we just got revised lead times for parts in the industry I work in. They are 2-4 times longer on commonly manufactured parts (for our industry). Something that was 8-12 weeks is now 30 weeks, six months is now a year. What used to be possible on an engineering schedule no longer is. So Cat either got way behind with their procurement department on getting things on order compared to Polaris and Doo, or Polaris and Doo are going to hang some of their customers out to dry bringing new product to the table. Time will tell.

At least now we can close this thread and re-type everything we all have said when someone starts the 2024 thread!

does anyone feel that last fall when Andy Beavis was out having good time in his SXS, has anything to do with the hold up?

I hope no one actually buys that parts shortages are somehow MORE of an issue for AC than the others, even though they are set to build/sell SUBSTANTIALLY fewer units (even IF they had a new model). Like I said earlier, and should be even more blatantly obvious now - the root cause is that they D.G.A.F. about selling mountain sleds. 0% concern....can't be bothered....just like Yamaha

SnowTrax TV also has a video about that Blast Limited and he was impressed with it.

M6000 is listed in the model lineup so must be bringing it back.
