2011/12 Togwotee snow conditions

Todays weather picture is looking much better then yesterdays....Looks like Northwest Wyoming could see as much as 12inches in the next 48 hours

Cross your fingers

Today - Tuesday--No Snow--- Sunny Sky
Chance of Snow Wed-Thurs but at this point doesnt look like it will amount to much.

If your planning a trip before the end of the year. I recommend you reschedule.

If your planning a trip before Jan 10th, cross your fingers.. I will keep you posted.

Again, I want everyone to have a good time

Just curious what do you feel is much and what is not ....
Moran Wyoming is forcasting 1 to 2 inches for tonight and 4 to 6 inches for tomorrow thats 5 to 8 inches for the next 2 days ....I am no expert here but I think Moran is about 2000 Feet lower elavation then the Top so there is a chance there could be close to maybe 12 inches up top ....
Again I am no expert I have never been snowmobiling at Tog ...Been to Snowies but not Tog .......Think Positive

I guide in the Togwotee area
Just trying to speak the truth.
When the snow comes I will post

There is nothing worse than my fellow snowmobile lovers that come to play and leave with bad memories and empty wallets because of rocks and poor snow.

Have u been up on the pass?..curious to how the snow is up higher ?its showing only 18 inches(puke) at brooks 23 at tog lodge but 28 up high..i know 28 is still pretty grim but i would sure think a foot of fresh would change things( thats if the weatherman is rite..we all know how that can go tho)..that could put snotel reading up high to 38+ inches..ithat sounds pretty good to me...lets hope the weather man knows whats up with this one..thanks for the update..keep us posted

Thank you

Thanks for being real. I was planning a trip early next week but I think I'll reconsider. I can handle the truth, (unlike Tom cruise in a few good men). What I can't handle is local recommendations from the lodges saying how great the snow is so they don't lose business.

So Thank you for the honesty,
Sincerely,

A- arms

Some good news it has started to snow.
Its not suppose to be a dumping maybe a few inches up top, I will keep you posted.

FYI: as a general rule. If you look at the Brooks Lake Lodge Webcam you will see a Rock next to the pole. It is there for a reason. If you can see where it is save your money and reschedule, if you cant its time to ride. Hope this helps.

ok now is a 1/2 hour later and lighter out at brooks lake web ...I see what looks like a white Rock just to the left of the pole is that the one????

i swear tog is paying the weatherman to make big predictions ..that storm looked great up until i woke up today..still looks like a lil potential for today but not what they where saying..let us know what happens pksignator and thanks ..its nice having someone that is actuly there shedding some light on whats goin on..we are planning on being there the 3rd to the 8th so hopfully somthing happens soon

Unfortunately the snow has stopped for the most part.
About an 1 1/2".

Next chance of snow sometime after Xmas.

Happy Holidays Everyone!!!

we are scheduled to come out the 8-13th. i am seriously thinking about pulling the plug. i think we can cancel with no charges up until the 14 day out period. i would rather see 40" than the 24 listed. 30 hours one way in the truck is a long way to go, to tear stuff up.

damn, damn, damn..... ski

Snow

Togs website says 6"? Who to believe? We are headed out on the 19th of jan. A couple dumps would be great. Next week there is snow forecasted, fingers are crossed!

Someone on a nother site said they got 11inches out of this last one ...And it looks to me like they are still cleaning the parking lot a Tog lodge ?????????
