2011/12 Snowy Range snow conditions

Report for a few days...

Rode out of Albany Saturday and Sunday. Snow was SIIICCCKKK!! Over the hood all day!! Mostly a south ride.

Monday... day off

Tuesday... Went up with Dansyl found bumber deep to hood deep most of the day!! Thanks for the GREAT RIDE btw!! That was up north.

Wednesday.. Went to the Madre's Had a really fun ride with Owenb2!! Again... Thanks for the ride! Snow over there was a tad bottomless after you break throught the icy crust. It was, however, snowing at a fairly good rate when we finally decided to head out.

All in all... Having some GREAT rides!

No kidding Owenb2 and Dansyl thanks a ton for the rides. Had a ton of fun!!!

Riding since Wed. Wed was ok but has been snowing since. It has been over the hood powder for 2 days. and it is still snowing. Just about all of the range has got great snow. It is even starting to set up and getting a descent base.

Went up this afternoon, on the west side. Snow was AWESOME!! Its finally winter.

Snow was bumper deep right at the gate. When we got back to the truck there was 4" or so on the trailer (we were only up for three hours today)


Didn't stop long enough to take pics but were going back up tomorrow and I'll try .

Found some great pow today on the backside of the range in the trees calling for more tonight

Also, somehow we dropped a black ski-doo tunnel bag while loading our trailer late Thursday night at green rock.. If by some chance someone scooped it up I'd appreciate any help getting it back

Lost Tunnel Bag

Lost an Arctic Cat tunnel bag on Trail U (HWY 130) between Greenrock Parking and Libby Flats today saturday 2-11-2012. PM me if you found one. Thank You

look out for land mines at widowmaker area just south of NO trail. It is between by north gap lake and creek.

anyway we had a good time at the snowies! Got some good snow there now! Its worth to go there, I would like to go again.

if your were talking about motor that locked up last year in grand lake so yeah I got a new indy dan bottom end in it or I did bent a trailing arm by hit a rock in grand lake too.

it was from saturday the 11th, ground still need more but the hills has ton of deep snow. We saw some nice deep snow off the NO trail, too bad I broke it lol.
