2010-2011 Whistler/Pemberton Conditions

Well Brandywine on Saturday was ok pretty tracked out though. Trees were fun. Sunday was really wet. 3 foot deep snowman making materiel :(
Im sure there will be lots of Avy's with all that heavy snow this week.

ok deep does not describe today. At one point I looked around and there was about 20 guys stuck half of them facing down hill.

I Have seen the snow report and I have only been in conditions once in my life like that.....lets see the pics:face-icon-small-hap

I've never been snowmobiling at whistler but i have done revelsoke a few times and love riding in Canada. Would someone pm directions to brandy wine from seattle, wa? Thanks

Not bad!

What is the parking situation for sproat this year. havn't been up in a few years. and would like to go up soon. Like maby friday.

Was riding Sprout after that big storm twice last week, as long as you get in past the yellow gate or even better park in the lot up the road to the left its fine. The lot was way full, and the road down to the gate was nose to ramp, but I was surprised how many trucks were parked below the lot 10+. If ya showed up in the lot before 9:30 I'm sure you'd be fine.

Do NOT park on the the paved circle below the gate or you'll get towed for sure!!!!

I posted this a few weeks ago:

Sproatt Parking: Just FYI there is a new plowed parking lot for access to Sproatt this year which is located at the old Callaghan Lake logging road directly off highway 99. There is no parking allowed at the rental area and dog sledding area at the Olympic site. You will get towed if you park there.

Myself and a Buddy want to ride Pemberton area, any advice would be great. From Chetwynd so it would be about a 10hour drive. Who can you buy permits from...ect?? Thanks

I live in Burnaby and just bought my first (used RMK 800) sled, looking to join someone for a ride in the Whistler area this weekend. Saturday or Sunday Jan 15/16 2011.

Feel free to PM me or call me 778-231-0513.

I am hoping you guys can help me out. I was thinking of doing some camping in Pemberton and going for a ride, not that familiar with the area though. My trailer is 29ft, is there a place to set up without upsetting anybody? Don’t think I can make it up to the first clearing - I am assuming there is too much snow right now. Any help would be appreciated.

Dan
