Got an update yesterday. Snow is still awesome at bear lodge around that area! It setup a bit from the snow they had but it's still awesome! Clutch for 8 to 10k. Bear is at 8200 or so. Alot of riding is 8-10k feet!

Thanks Skidoo we will be headed out there next friday hope the snow is still good an can find some powder!!

Here are a few pics from Thursday and Friday. The snow was setting up fast but we where able to find some good snow and some fun hills. Great base, best I have seen this early in the year.

Also fiberglass hill slid sometime Friday. Hope everyone was ok.

Be careful out there guys/gals. We just got back and the snow pack is perfect for slides. Anywhere from 12-36 inches of hard dense snow on top of a pretty good layer of sugars. We seen avys all over. Fiberglass slid friday afternoon. There were a couple that slid up on trail LH. Seen a couple around hunt mountain area. Seen a few south west of lodges. Even on the small hills if you stop, the snow will almost instantly make a pretty good "whomp".

As far as snow it is very set up. They could definately use more. Overall I was very dissapointed in the snow compared to what everyone was reporting.

Wysteph

WYsteph,

do you have a camper on the very end of the campground at bear? If so, i think mine is a few spots done.

would love to ride with you guys some weekday.

Went and rode saturday up behind deer haven. Rode some areas new to me and found some cool places to go. There is quite a bit of snow but last weeks warm temps and the wind made the snow pretty hard. Hopefully it snows this week we could sure use some fluff on top!

Yeah it's back in the corner by the sled shack, think it is E5 or something like that. Not sure when we are planning to go again. Have to fix some little stuff on my sled.

Rode Friday and Saturday west and south of Owens. Changed our riding style a bit for the Spring like conditions but had a blast! Still found decent snow in the trees. Nice base setting up out there.
