Nice Deer Steph!!!! :)

Just went up to Bald Mtn yesterday. 14A was still open which was nice so we didnt have to unload at the lodge and try and ride the ditches all the way back there. Got into some ok snow. Probably around 36" in the trees. Maybe around 12" on the flats. Pretty wind blown. Not much of a base yet. Good for the first ride of the year. Just really watch for down trees, stumps and rocks. Not sure when they will close 14A but if they do and we dont get more snow it is not worth the ride to get there.

Went up powder river yesterday. Parked at the big parking lot then went over to baby wagon and then over towards deer haven. Very rocky and lots of branches, still in need of more snow. Once we got to deer haven we took the road and went up towards battle park. We managed to find a few untouched spots up in the trees that had enough snow to play in. The wind has blown the snow all over so the open is almost bare in spots. Looks like a good start to the season tho!

Oh FYI, I heard that reason 14A is still open is because of an extended hunting season. Not sure when that is over but I bet they are more then ready to be done plowing up there.

I have to say while driving over yesterday, I was jealous of all you guys riding! But not of the tracks with rocks and logs in them lol. My parts are finally here, a christmas tree hunting trip/break in ride might be in order soon!

Home for thanksgiving at the parents decided to go riding. Snow is awesome rode friday in good snow still have to be carful of landmines but awesome early snow. around 4 feet in the trees have to still be careful of stumps. Forgot the camera or would post picks but its looking good for the horns this year

Rode northwest of bear Saturday and Sunday! Alright snow for this time of year, we rode in about 2 feet all day. Very wind blown but in the trees found some better snow.

Saw some good sized avalanches, so everyone be safe!

(Treehunter)- where did you find 4 feet? that seems like a lot compared to what we found!

Sled 365 Will post some pics Tomorrow

Rode from Bear Lodge today up Dayton Gulch Road to Highcountry and then back on the highway. Did a little off trail riding but a person needs to catious. The snow is definately better in the trees, as the open areas are wind blown and thin. I would say around a foot of snow at Bear Lodge, and up to three feet in the trees to the Northwest of Bear Lodge. Good start to the season, but need a few more good dumps to make the riding enjoyable.

North and west of the tower and north of baldy down in the bottoms around cow camp and in the trees there is around four feet or was! now if you just ride the flats and hills there was two feet max. but I'll give pictures next time gonna be home for christmas so will be riding the horns and cooke more. I will say we have a great start down here in the snowies rode last weekend in fun snow with a pretty good base. I hope the horns have kept getting snow since I have been gone.
