I gave him some aleve at the parking lot, looked like he was hurting. Hope he turned out ok. breaking ribs is horrible, caue there aint a thing that you can do for it.

snow today was good, lots of powder. Definately worth the trip, alot of it is rutted up in the common areas that everyone rides. But get into the trees back somewhere and you can find fresh powder everywhere. I bent my bulkhead about a half mile from the pickup this morning. Hit one of the little jumps on highway 130 and landed on the guard rail, yeah it was quite a deal. Found the ten high guys playin around west of the widowmaker and sat and watched as they dropped a cornice and jumped up hill and turned it 180 degrees, Pretty damn wicked. Them guys can flat out ride!!!!!!!!! All in all it was a great day of ridin, damage was minimal and seen alotta good riders. All i know is after last night i'm glad i'm drinkin crown right now instead of buried in a creek. Everyone have funn and ride safe. And the ten high crew, keep it up, you guys are sick and i will be buyin your videos.

Finally some people talkin about new snow...i like it, and hope its keeps comin down for the next couple weeks..hope everyone has a sweet ride this weekend..

Rode friday pushing bumper deep snow in the trees we rode for four hours in fresh snow not tracked in the trees. It was great until I hit one of the trees and ended our day but the snow was great.

Nice pics guys. We ran across you earlier today I think it was.

Be careful out there everybody, we were sitting at the Widowmaker this afternoon and we saw the snowline from the left side of the cornice to the rocks break a little bit and a small amount of snow was creeping down the hill. We also saw a little snow slide between the rocks that are to the left of the cornice, and finally off to the right side it was also sliding very slowly down the hill. If you weren't watching it for a while, you would have never known.

Instead of turning to albany keep going straight, where there is actually something worth riding. Or better yet, go to cameron pass, more for me to track up. Albany is awesome if ya wanna ride trails in the trees. Everyone else goes to green rock. So if your reading this, it's not an acurrate snow report at all, albany shouldn't even be considered the snowies. Flame away everyone, flame away!!!!

.
There's good snow in MN too. We got mountains.. ride 'em!

norcop - if you have a better suggustion for the guy looking for a place to stay and rent sleds on the mountain I am all ears. SML is closed. For guys looking for lodging and rentals Albany is the best option right now IMO. If you know of something better please post it.

Couldn't have said it better. Greenrock is 10 times better than Albany. That is why a majority of the riders ride out of there. They should build a paking lot up there!

Tough week man!! Hope you luck gets better.

Riding was great over the weekend snow was over the bumper. Along the main trail it got rode down but off the trail was great. The Gates family took over the old corral and the food will give the bear tree a run for it's money along with the fact that you can bring in your own beer.

We rode with High Altitude Excursions on Friday & Saturday. As you can see from the picture there was plenty of snow and as people said in the earlier posts, get off the beat and path (recommend a guide who knows the mountain) and we found untracked deep powder all day both days. Thanks to Joe & Keith at High Altitude Excursions.

I hate to be redundant but like was said, get off the beaten path and you can find PLENTY of good powder to shred.
