2009/10 Big Horns North/South snow conditions

Todd... is that you leading? I dont think, I could keep up. I would just have to open up the turbine, and start running things over... :face-icon-small-dis

Steph, Thanks...we are riding again Sunday on the Lovell side, I just saw they have a chance to get half a foot or so on Saturday, keep your fingers crossed.

Justin, yeah I put the camera on my buddy, I'm sure you could keep up with your turbo, you making any trips to the horns this season?

We'll be sure to wave if we see you, would like to ride with ya but think the whole family is coming and they aren't going to want to do the harder stuff. Some fresh snow would be nice!

We'll be the group with 2 old phazers, 1 or 2 mountain maxes, a rev with a yellow hood, my cat and wyrider's '10 m8.

Possibly, we havent got the trailer out yet. It snows here everyday, so, we have been moving, hauling and piling snow like crazy. Plus my buddy Twister has had a line up of sleds at his place... so it has made it tough to leave. I am thinking we need to take the rest of February/March and ride.

According to most turbos are point and shoot, so there is no way I could keep up with the road coarse you laid out...

I will let you know if we head your way.

Sounds good, have fun and be safe in Cooke.

Sledding above Buffalo

Just got back from sledding in the Big Horns up above Buffalo. I must say this is the worst snow I have seen up there in years. We went up above the Big Horn Ski Lodge on Meadowlark Lake. Lets just say how we got out of there with out tearing up one of the sleds is a mystery. So we headed up from Deer Haven on the trail and got into Battle Park (15 miles from Deer Haven). I was totally amazed at the snow in Battle Park. We were pushing powder over the hoods of our sleds, the only thingthat would of made it better is if the snow had any kind of base under it. They also got about 8 inches of new snow over the weekend. If anyone is heading up there I would highly recommend heading into Battle Park.

Northside has snow and lots of it. was coming over the hoods and into my goggles. Times you couldnt see anything and had to wipe away the pow to keep on going. Amazing day for sure and was still snowing like a champ when we came down. Tomorrow will be an awesome day if the sun shines through.

Thankx, WYsteph, woulda been fun to hook up with you guys, met a couple peeps from back home so led them round to a few spots, Lake Creek, Freeze Out, found some deep snow, but not like it usually is.:face-icon-small-hap. Have been at work for 1.5 weeks so havn't got back to post a few picks from last ride at end of Jan. Did some tuning and riding first day. Ended up with seized piston coming in Sat. eve so things kinda sux, was gonna hit Owens Creek hills Sun. morn since there was hardly any traffic back in there. But hauled them home instead, going back to stock cyls. and pistons for next ride last weekend of Feb.
Here's a few pics of me and my boy.

Snow on the northwest side was incredible yesterday, we found so much untracked pow it was ridiculous. Bluebird day.

One more little video from same area, different camera and gives you a better idea how good the snow was. You can see the "go pro" helmet camera on my helmet...little thing works pretty good.
