155 or 163?

I am looking at buying an RMK Pro and cant decide whether I should ride a 155 or a 163. Any thoughts? I ride in washington state and we get all kinds of weather from hard to really deep conditions.

You need to look at all the factors that come in to play. Total riding weight, you, gear and so on. Also, where do you ride, wide open where your just taking pulls at open faces or do you also sprinkle tree riding in there as well. If your hitting in the 220lb and over I would look at the 163. I myself am 210 fully geared and ride both open faces and trees, all depends on where the powder is. I ride a 146 assault, will be on a 155 pro this year, and I have never had any issues staying on top of the snow or getting decent pulls up the mountain. My riding buddy has a 163 pro and can throw it around very well. At times he would get jammed up when riding close trees but overall didnt seem to have many issues. Again, this decision has a lot of variables but in the end its about what works for you. Just my 2 pennies.

You cannot really go wrong with either one. I am small guy 5'8 and 155lbs. I ride a 155 but have spent alot of time on a 163. Usually, you will get more $$$ when you sell it for the 163.

I don't really notice any harder handling with the 163 over the 155. Pretty much the same.

If in question, go big. Better to have more than you need than want more than you have.

I started with a 141 then went 155 and now I'm going 163. I like how the longer sleds hold those steep slow technical sidehills without washing out. And the pro is so nimble 163 doesn't feel long at all.

Hmm

Just take the stickers off and lie to yourself till u believe it!!!

But seriously, ,
I used to have one of each and the 155 is goin away..

Go the 155" if your not riding deep pow most of the time. Less push in the corners while on the trails.

Just like stated above there are a lot of factors that come into play. Your rider weight being the main factor

155 Pro canidate....jumps often
....Has a long trail ride to riding destination
....Climbs some but doesnt always look to set the highmark...
....Plays in the trees but doesnt alway aim for the most technical and steep lines
....wieghs less then 200 lbs

163 Pro canidate....Jumps some
....not much time spent on trails
....Climbs often and has buddies with Skidoos and Artic Cats that need put in there place:face-icon-small-sho
....Is in the trees often and likes the tight technical lines that his buddies new XM wont be able to follow:face-icon-small-win
