Tracks- Challenger Extreme, Peak 2.5 or Series 6

Gotta replace the track. Sheared the jackshaft, ripped a bunch of lugs off and who knows what else. 2015 Pro RMK 800 163 with Boondocker Agility Turbo with Intercooler Riding mostly 6000ft elevation in the Black Hills of SD. Lots of boondocking in the trees where there are not a shortage of land mines. I also have to run down trails and dive off due to a large trail system cris crossing the terrain, closed off private property etc. Couple trips further west every year, mainly the Big Horns. I see alot of sleds with ripped lugs and holes in tracks with the amount of logs, stumps, rocks and branches. My thought was go with a Camoplast Peak 2.5. Looked at weights.

Polaris Series 6 163 2.6 weights 52lbs
Camoplast Challenger Extreme 163 2.5 weighs 59lbs
Camoplast Peak 163 2.5 weighs 65lbs

Best I could find on the weights. God I hate the idea of that much more rotating weight vs the Series 6 but I'm thinking the durability and from lots of reports, the grip that the Peak may be the way to go over the Series 6. (especially at the $$ difference considering I can get a Peak 2.5 for roughly $800. But is it going to be a dog after swapping. houghts?

I've got the Challenger Extreme on my Pro - came with the sled, so I can't make any back-to-back comparisons, but I've got no complaints. Lighter would be nice, but I hear it holds up better than most. Mine has held up well. I don't know if you're going to find anything much better for a Pro.

if it was me, i would find a track shaft out of a matryx with 3.5 pitch drivers, and use a camso 300lm. i was able to find a track shaft for $300 on ebay and used it in my axys, axys and pro ride interchange so i dont see why a matryx shaft wouldnt fit in a pro ride.

Still waiting on Insurance when I started looking at the track and drivers after going down the shop estimate. Isn't the stock track, driveshaft or drivers. Instead of the hex driveshaft looks like its the hydro press driveshaft with anti-ratchet drivers. Measured up the pitch on the track at it's 3 in not the stock 2.86 in. Looking at track options with a 3.0 pitch and there is a Camoplast X3 162, but if I'm going with Ice Age Rails and up from a 7.25 wheel to an 8' wheel. I think it would be a little to tight for that 163 setup or am I wrong? I can easily find a used stock Octogon Drive (QD Belt drive) with stock drivers 2.86 and just go with a Camoplast Challenger Extreme 2.5x163x15 2.86 track. Seems like far less headache and worry. Not even sure what part# that drive shaft in there is to make sure I find a match. Probably out of an AXIS but who really knows.

^^^^ that's a 2.86 pitch track.

The Camoplast Challenger Extreme is I know. The X3 is a 3.0 in 162x15x3 (9220M) is a 3in Pitch but it is an inch short on my 163 skid, I think the between that 1 in reduction and the reduction in slack with a larger diameter wheel would be too tight Plus I would need to buy new drivers to fit the Octogon shaped drive shaft. https://shop.tracksusa.com/Challeng...talogId=-3693&productId=-438705&shopBy=-13144
It's tight but doable.

It takes a ratchet strap to get the skid bolts in

Ice age rails are made to fit at 162 so that would fit fit just fine.
