Our rep will have one in a few weeks so I'll have my wife and daughter both on it. Might even throw my little guy on it to see how it does.
My wife is worried about the mono rail and it being tippy on the trails, so I told her I'd swap to a twin rail setup( I have a 141 PC skid on the shelf) and mono rail the 440 fan. LOL
Wife is 130lbs, daughter is 100lbs and my middle boy is about 70lbs. So it'll be a good test for each of them.
I am looking forward to your thoughts after getting wife and kids on the demo Reeb!! (Well, actually, I'd rather know what your wife and daughter think, as they bound my wife's weight...)
To the rest of you chumps poo pooing it becuase it's too big, or too small, or underpowered, or whatever, I think you're missing the point. This sled isn't for YOU, it's a cheaper entry level sled for smaller than fat-guy size people. It's light years better than a Freestyle, or Polaris EVO, and of course, more expensive. Yeah, it re-uses some parts. Be pretty stupid if it didn't, IMO.
I don't think the Blast was intended to be a "kids" sled at all, as that's what the 200 is. I'm hoping it is intended to be a sled that my wife can ride better than the M6000 153 that quite often takes her for a ride instead of the other way around... She needs a 3/4 or 7/8 scale sled, and that's what this is. 65hp will probably do her well, as will electric start and EFI. And if one wanted to knock 10 lbs off it, you can probably find a lighter can, as it is rumored to use the same can as the M8000/M6000, and that sucker must be brick lined... Then again, there is something to be said for balance... Having the heavier muffler tends to offseet the weight of the clutches, which isn't a bad thing if you have to sidehill throttle side up. (Hard to do on my M8, vs. easier with clutch side up...)
BTW, Reeb, I sold the Z440 SnoPro Mtn Lite to my buddy, who's 16yo son is riding the crap out of it! No more updates on that hot mess...
