XP Turbo Kit Prices

We did our final testing on the kits this weekend and everything went good for the most part. Had an issue with a $15.00 exhaust gasket so boost was limited to about 5psi:(:(. This is all part of the game for us though. After too many times on and off and use it finally gave up. We had another used one, but same thing there too:(. We found a slight disformaty in our flange that wasn't helping at all and this will be addressed this week. Jetting and clutching was good, sled ran very good all day. Changed reeds and went back to stock just to check some things and the stainless steel ones I had in were more responsive. The turbo reeds will be getting made soon and the response should be the same with those reeds:D. We tested at 10000' and temps were in the 60's and we just had a good time. The video should be coming this week. We tested on a small hill and the results were surprising:eek:. We tested against a semi stock XP and my M-7 Cat @ 12psi and the turboed XP, even with a major boost leak and only making about 5psi would give the Cat a run on this hill. The XP would come off the top @58mph. The M-7 never was a stump puller and the clutching is setup for big boost so it takes a while to get it going. The XP-T is just like riding a NA sled, you can wick the throttle and it will burp over bumps. It is super responive. Boost for boost the TM-7 will have no chance and any bossted M-8 I don't think will be a problem either. They just don't seem strong on the bottom end either. The test hill was a little tight for 2 sleds at the bottom, but the video should give a good indication of how things compare.

He said $15000 for the sled setup and ready to ride. Sled has 60 miles on it and the turbo kit will all be brand new. If your interested I can pm you his phone number and you can discuss it in more detail with him.

Ant pics of this sled? I am interested in knowing the cost of this machine with the turbo kit installed and tuned.

Here are some pictures from last weekend. The silencer in the pictures is not the production piece. We will offer one as an option, it will be round instead of cone shape. The standard down pipes are just a straight pipe out the stock location or out the side.

I have a stupid question, actually a lot of them, but does anyone know that when posting pictures it shows you your limit. Mine is maxed out. If I delete from the Manage Attachments will they get deleted from the post too. Does this make any sense? I'm no computer wizard:o.

just start a photobucket account and put em in there, then they show up big inserted, and you can upload videos, its easy free and you can use much bigger files, not hte tiny inserted ones.. that setup looks NICE>... cant imagine how it goes!!

Signing autographs.....thats funny. Note to all. If you go sledding june 27th on top of the snowies it is tourist season...lots of tree huggers everywhere. I thought we were going to get beat with recycled paper bats but they actually loved it. We had crouds taking video and pictures on the sleds. Lets do it again next year Dave.....we might be tuning a few more cc's next year.:D:D

For sure for next year!! You'll have to take off your shirt and have the snow bunnies rub sun screen all over you. I'll be elsewhere while this is going on:(. Be sure to get all the autographs signed before the rub down. You know how that lotion can be:D:D. kind of funny if you look at he pictures posted, there is one with you in your shorts and flip-flops. Maybe that's what got the estrogen flowing:D.

I will be sending a charge tube and charge box off to get some quotes for building those items out of carbon fiber for the ultimate cool factor and light weight:eek:. These will be an option, although the charge tube might be included in the kit;). I have now gotten rid of the under head light air box for more weight loss and I will be recommending this too. I will include the bracket to support the headlight assembly and I need to fab up a screen for the intake location.

As of now with the way things are going I am having the turbo mounting bracket and all the pieces for the charge boxes water jet cut for more precision and so I can spend my time focused on other things. Originally I was going to hand build all the parts but it gets to a point where sometimes it's cheaper to farm out the parts and continue refining the kits. We have been contacted by a Ski-Doo dealer in BC Canada about being a turbo dealer for the Canadian customers. We are still working on that, but this will make it easier for our northern customers and they will offer any service work you may need. We will also be attending Hay Days this year with about 5 sleds. It wont be a big flashy booth, but stop in and check out the kits and give us a shout.
