So just what is the fine for killing these wolves? (if one were to get caught)

Is it that hard to kill them without getting caught?

There is actually a $100 bounty on them in the area I hunt. Unfortunately I've only been able to snipe 1 of the buggers off. Our bag limit in our area is 3 per/year per hunter..........

It's not hard to do withour getting caught. Just shoot and walk away. and keep your mouth closed

never kill the one with the collar. The feds killed two packs with choppers and buckshot on my sisters place, had a hard time finding the one. somebody dumped the collar wolf. Have heard people say kill the collar wolf and put the collar on a log. float it down the river, don't do that. Kill the rest, Hell yes.

Love the piranna and shark idea. I wanna catch one on a fly rod!

NY and LA need wolves and grizzly bears.

As far as the wolf with the coller. Shoot him last. He gives away all his buddies. Otherwise put the coller on a south bound Canadian bull trailer. :-)

i'd say put the collar on a german shepard, let it lose in new york, on wall street. then you'd see some panic. lol.

As I understand it....the problem with those wolves in the reintro program from 1995....they are NOT Timberwolves...they are much larger Canadian Wolves.

Not the same capabilities. Much bigger and better hunters of big game. Once again, they intro'd a non-native species.

whats not natural about it.

you're all pissed cause the wolves hunt better then you can.

get it? seems like you could use a little time doing some research.

i may go out and keep an eye on em this winter, sledding with .45 on the handlebars

we have wolves all over here. the moose population and elk and deer are still decent. but we had a problem with diease for a bit, then we have a lot of "early hunters" that kill anything that moves. but there still is enough for the wolves, hunters and for the population to grow.

remember the animals were here before humans and in most areas humans have taken away there habitat. there just coming home

Hey! That griz they caught behind my house, I was told they were going to relocate it near whitefish. Keep a eye out for him. I named him Bob. He likes Honey, sheep and chokecherries.

I THINK what he's saying is that it's not natural because those wolves aren't there naturally.

If they showed up on their own without a helicopter and pick-up truck ride then they might be natural.

I dunno...the local game warden was talking about the wolves we have here.

Besides, I always believe everything that Hesse reads on the internet.

Yeah, I know what you mean by the ever so increasing numbers of wolves.

Here in Michigan we have the ever so increase in human population that are taking away deer habitat. Woods are being logged off for homes building, and subdivisions being developed throughout this wonderful deer habitat. As a result, deer have minimal places to go, so as when they do get booted out of these small sections of woods they cross rds and end up getting killed by cars. What happens next, the state wants less deer/car accidents so they push the DNR to open more hunting seasons to decrease the number of deer......it's all a game of politics!

Until more rural people are threatened by wolves, most likely, the government won't do any thing about it.

Track and shoot, now you guys will enjoy that better than just riding. :)

Timberwolves are different than Arctic Wolves. But to me they are all the same, predator control works in helping increase moose populations in an area.
