Will Turbo Yamis always rule

Yea I would agree with the Rated R statement but come on. You can only ride that thing for like a minute before it runs outta gas. The t-apex is the best all around sled for those who can afford it!!!

I would disagree on the best all around for me anyway.

"Will Turbo Yamis always rule....." Horsepower? Handling? Best Touring? Best Sounding? Lightweight Category? Fuel Economy? Boondocking? Hill Climbing? RMSHA Hillclimbing? Snocross? Grass Drags? Water Skipping? Heavy Weight Class? Jumping? Drag Racing? Best Anchor?

I get a kick out of how turbo apex's riders are so religious with there sled. Last year here on snowest had to be a record for Turbo Apex posts. Pretty entertaining posts though when you get a hardliner fired up.:D :D :D

Yes,Think about it.... When you add a turbo, All your adding is some compressed and cooled air.

With two strokes, you have to buy a big bore for the same price that only gets you to about 250hp max in a twin.

I said 10 years ago that I would ride a dog sled before I bought a Yami, now I own one, and looking at buying a Phazer for the wife.

Nytro ($12500.00)+ Boost($6000.00), 540lbs, 280hp, simple decision!!

i would take a turbo yamaha over rated r any day. defnity with not hesitation..it may have big horse power but think about going back to the truck to fill it up with 20$ a gallon nytro and start it using a power tool and a generator every 5 or 10 minuts...fun while it runs but not at all when it dont...yamaha is so far ahead of the compitation in 4 stroke technologyy that i dont think they will ever ketch up...as far as boost goes...nothing will ever comepare to the reliablity and proformance..but we do have a point with the rotor sleds..but that wont happin for a while..and still i dont think they will blow down 15 pounds of boost

Every sled has their day and the yammies are finally getting theirs. Nothing out this year that will top a boosted yammie, don't know how much longer that will last. I would like to see a next generation apex though. Hopefully they don't swing towards the nytro look.

I thought the man who drank the most beer ruled the snow?..... I'd put my money on Rated R over a turbo yami.

Remember you can't drive rated R to the hills and how many times have you seen it climb a chute The best all around sled is not just about the power. Yami has done an awesome job with the balance of the nytro for a heavier sled it FEELS lighter than even the xps I have riden . Boosted this sled is going to be in the top 2 or 3 sleds for a while to come ALL things considered:D

I started this thread on the first day of the new forums as the very first thread in the Yami section (Note to Fab), anyways kinda just threw it out there as a joke and to get the ball rolling. I wasn't sure if anybody would chime in on it, thought some 2 strokers might bite. LOL keep em comin.

I hope they do go with a big four cylinder in a nytro looking frame. Rider forward with a ton of power would be awesome. I loved the power of my apex but missed my IQ-R riding position and characteristics. If they can get one like it or close i will own one for sure, boosted of course.

Yeah I would like to see a rider forward design, but I really like the apex look. I can't wait to see though because that will probably be my next turbo sled:D
