agreed. just spent a few days in over the hood pow and the flotation was impressive. i could stop pretty much anywhere and move along slowly w/o getting stuck.

I'd like to ride a Polaris with this gen 5 doo powerplant. That would be amazing, i'm still a better rider on my 9r but i really like my gen 5 165. Suspension is better for sure.

When faced with the question of should I buy a Skidoo or a Polaris, I’m starting to think the only reasonable answer is…….yes.

My dealer told me a complete new turbo 4 stroke mountain is coming out tomorrow. I laughed at him but who knows, he also said the turbo is getting a 12hp bump and a 3.3 track.

3.3” track! Lmao thats all we need, hard enough to keep these sleds cool and tracks reliable with the 3”.

Doo just needs to fully clip the track on the 3” is they want to add weight.

I could see 3.3 to just edge out the poo 3.25. Problem is you have to go slower on the trail. If you go too fast with the poo you get a warning and engine retard i believe

The engine doesn't retard, but you get a big red track over speed warning, and if ever try to get the track warrantied they pull the records.

The doo 3” 16w already does that.

Skidoo generally climbs better already. They don't need a deeper lug track.

Game changer for skidoo would be a 15wide track and a narrow or tapered tunnel.

Been on a skidoo for 3 seasons and that's my biggest "miss" coming from cat. Its a sudden change but honestly feels huge.

Yeah I hope it's more similar to the Polaris and Cat steering. And I hope the new front end geometry helps with the wonky handling
