Gotta have the right group of guys to start with. We just bullchit the whole way. The passengers crack the first beers about 2-3 hours away. Any further and you have to stop too often for piss breaks.

18 hrs to Cooke goes by quick when your hands are white knuckle to the steering wheel. 70 mph on icy roads up through ID/WY/MT, and then 55 mph through the park into Cooke. Watch out boys, I go 13k# combined and I'm 45' long!!!!

My group plays a game the whole way. Who's heart stopped the longest after they have avoided or hit the following: Deer, pheasants, icy patches on corners where it is only 3,000 feet to the bottom of the hill and that slow @ss in the left lane. Kickin' it old school to Digital Underground usually works too.

Videos suck when driving. Try books on tape or cd. A good western willcover 4 hrs. The "Divincy Code" will get you out and back!!!!!

I completely agree with the books on tape...folks got me into them as a kid and they make time fly by!!!

hell, we usually consider a 9 hour drive a warmup, 15-18 hours for us is a two shift drive.

Sounds like you guys need to move!!!!! I have 5 different riding areas within about an hour of me! It's only about an hour from the start of the World Famous Alaska Highway!!! This weekend will make 4 in a row. Home every night, warm supper, hot woman!!!!!!
