What oil

Some of you guys put so much thought and effort into this it just blows my mind. Can you really go THAT wrong by just putting in what it says on the side of the oil tank?

It's not like they last regardless.....any 800 sled motor is going to puke something metal in less than 5,000 miles whether it runs on OEM oil, redline, blood of Christ himself, etc

have always heard the best things about VES....but the price scared me away.

running Legend in da pro now..$30gal..figure the injection is set to 40:1 factory, so we throw 1/2 to 3/4 ounce per gallon used when filling up....

makes me feel better when its running upside down for extended periods of time....:behindsofa:

dont believe anything ext E says, he's crazy................................:nono:

Been runnng amsoil interceptor in 2 07 revs for over 6000 miles with absolutly no problems. Replaced top end on one this year with 3000 miles on pistons and they looked almost like new. Had almost zero carbon on pistons and exhaust valves. Cylinders were in great shape. Ordered 2 new pros this year and would like to keep running amsoil as it has been great so far and is $28.00/gal.

I've run Shell Advance Synthetic in both my '01 800 RMK and my '06 900 RMK with great success. That's what my new Pro will get next winter as well.

There wasn't any signs of lack of lubrication so I don't blame the Klotz. However the power valves had excessive carbon buildup for 400 miles.

I just think that with the Pro running on so little oil it doesn't take much for something to go wrong.

Ditto; tried Klotz once and just doesn't play well with exhaust valves!

Have FUN!
