Waiting for snow

Not being able to ride the blue bird day after a 4 foot storm

Everything costs so much

Riding a Polaris 900 (Not any more thank goodness!)

jeez.. does it suck not living in the mountains.. driving an hour to go ride pisses me off to no end. 20 minuntes? now thats more like it!!

but again, I think people who back out are the worst, I understand stuff coming up, but every weekend.. oh well, they now dont really ride anymore.

6 hours 1 way to go to the mountains. school does not allow any cash or free time for riding. weekend isn;t long enough. and deffinately when people back out.

Just do it!!

I say to all who want to be somewhere else...if you dont have dependants, pack your bags and go for it. Make the move while your young cause you won't be able to once you have a family and obligations. There's work everywhere if you look, you just may have to change your thought process for a while(take a job you wouldn't otherwise want to do). I drive over 1200km each way to ride in the mt's and that won't change until I retire(unless the Lotto Max early retirement plan kicks in) I just hope I can continue to do that 3-4 times a year as long as my riding buddies will have me.
Here's what bugs me-one storm all winter in my province accounts for our total snowfall and then we get the equivilant of 180" of snow in about 1 month in May/June and it does no good to anyone(unless you manufacture sump-pumps for a living). When I was a kid riding a 12hp Olympic and various other underpowered/under tracked/under suspended sleds, it seemed like we had tons of snow every year.

i want to know but only for powder and mountain riders i am looking at it for a school project and i dont want any thing about avys thanks

Not having 4' of fresh pow every single time I ride is the biggest pain in the *** about sledding :face-icon-small-con

blown motors

braking down, and packing motors in and out,or having to heli out sled! Not cheap. but this is the price we pay to play in the back country.

traffic on i70

Been 2 years since I've delt with I70 traffic. That's because I NEVER taking that F-ing Hwy anymore!

People backing out the last minute is very annoying. I just don't invite or ride with those people anymore.

I find it a PITA when now a days you have to carry around both Metric and Standard tools in the backcountry. Make it one damn unit of measurement on everything manufacturers!!! Is it THAT hard or more expensive to use all metric bolts/nuts on a chassis if you are using an engine with metric bolts/nuts???
