What do you like to see in Sled videos?

POWDER,POWDER,POWDER,I like Veedy's Boost deuce, boondocking is awesome in it, with the deep stuff galore!...ET.

Me and the Warden real like Veedy's stuff.Music is good. Riders are super.Snow is deep and camera work is awesome. The Warden eats lunch everyday to Darko's ride to the song Breathe.

My buddies and I own a lot of sled vids and really they end up all feel like we see the same things over and over. Someone needs to come out with something original that is not just segments to music. How bout showing some of the wrenching, set up, travel, somewhat of a plot or let us hear some sleds once in a while instead of all the lame music that they usually use.

I would really like to see more of Chris Burandt, in fact he should have a movie that is mostly him backcountry riding. The red bull fuel and fury short vids were cool.

Also it would be nice to show us where the heck you are riding in the vids, many of them do not tell you where the segments are filmed.

Oh and yes more powder riding and climbing in real powder, not hero spring snow that most of the climbing vids show. Yes we all know you need good conditions to film but there are plenty of bluebird powder days during winter too and not just spring.

I like to watch the boondocking and the big pulls on the hill. The worst is watching the ramp jumps. It’s cool when they jump of the cornice or natural hills. I want to see the climbs from start to finish also. :D

I like the insane climbs and the carnage, I fast forward threw the be-boppin around in pow and endless jumping.

My favorite movie would be ALL the shoot outs = insane free riding..

The one thing that tips me right over in a film is the FUGGIN writing
on the screen " My point of view from here or There " No fuggin chit Shirley

More helmet camera shots. Less jumping and wide open hillclimbs. How about technical (in trees) hillclimbing and more boondocking. Less heavy metal and less chit chatting.

Yea i have 2SCS 10 and slednecks 10. Its like wathching the same videos as there are the same clips in both videos. and im partial to watching the older movies more. a lot of that does not impress me any more. i like seeing stunts and that but i want to hear the sleds in the videos, i want to see more big pow days and some more hillclimbing boodocking. i like the natural jumps and drops. im not too big on the compititions in the videos and i dont like the built kickers. but any sled movie is better than no movie. oh one last thing. i forget what movie of mine has it in it but when the rider jumps his brand new sled off the cliff and then pulls his chute after. I found that to be extremely retarded and even if i was sponsored i wouldnt just throw the sled off the mountain like that. later vance

hahaha ^^^ right on brotha
im partial to the thunderstruck vids... mainly 6!!
its pretty sicc. mmm5 was cool, minus the narration whent hat guy tumbled down the hill. "What used to be his sled" .. the sled rolled once and he said that haha.
but seriously, all in all, since im a 907 hussler iv gotta give it to THC baby! but my most favorite segment was from ma boy D. clay and its on a BMX in the HIP turnagain video lol... sorry guys

i like the TS movies myself, the Crazy Canadian is insane! he is a real hoot to watch. i have pirdy much every one except 4.5. i love to watch everything except ramp jumps! i would like a little less music and a little more sled sounds to make me happy ;) heh heh. Burandt is nukin insane so i would like to see a little more of him in anything! i hate the naration on MMM4. i thought the sleds and action was awsum but the narration and music blew! 2 monotoned and the music sounded like something you would hear in a preschool but i hanvt seen MMM5. 2 thumbs up for the TS movies! the TS guys rock! keep up the good work Jim!

I never get tired of Burandt riding, you can see he loves it. In slebnecks 8 they had a bonus feature with Vohk building a 900 bb for chris brown. Then Brown riding it,I could really get into seeing alot more sled building and tricks of the trade stuff, as well as rebuilds after wrecks. Boondocking,in powder,in trees with smaller terrain features to air off of, that makes a good video! Oh bty thats what I like to ride, and so do most of us! P.S it,s O.K. to make videos when it,s snowing that looks good to. And a little less metal music ,please.

I would like to see something that hasn't been done before- why not a segment focusing on fan sleds?? There is a whole new segment of lightweight sleds out there that people would like to see. I would like to see a modded 350 lb summit 550 doing some climbing. Turboed apexes are cool and all but its been done.

I think it needs to get back to "Hey look- he has the skills to make that pull" instead of "hey look- he has the ba!!s to point up the hill and make that pull".

Just my 1 cent.

A little boondocking is cool, but it gets boring...I can boondock, I want to see guys doing stuff I can't do.

Maybe you just havn't boondocked with the right guys yet. I've been pissed off, stuck, wrecked and completely wore out, but I've never been bored boondocking with the guys I ride with.

Hill climb and boondocking and any good riding shot that take in more than the current fad of cut-cut-cut-cut-cut- and you never realy see much of anything whole.. I agree with some above and I like Veedys stuff pretty well, He has a good eye for the art of it. This may be rude I really dont care WHO is riding and the vids with the close up face shots of guys trying to be funny I could live without. Sorry guys you are good riders but NOT actors.
Just whole clips of good riding in the deep :) what happened to the Beer icons???

Videos

There has been a lot of good input on this. I do have a lot of sled videos, clear back to the old VHS pre-DVD videos. Some of the new ones look just like the previous years video. In fact some of the ones I have defiantly have some of the same footage. Nothing against the ramp jumps and all, but it does get a bit boring after a while. I would like to see a video based on Boondocking, back country deep powder riding busting through the trees, cornice jumping kind of action. I know most of us can Boondock and the freestyle stuff can be interesting, but it is watching the kind of riding I enjoy that gets me pumped up and ready to ride. Maybe this could be a plea to those making the videos. Bring us a good Boondocking video, save the freestyle ramp stuff for another video for those that like that so I can stop fast forwarding to the those parts. Most of the time after fast forwarding threw the freestyle stuff I only have about ten to fifteen minutes of video left.

i like when i can get a sense of the trip. gas stops, goofing off, loading up the truck and trailer. the peak into the way other people sled is always good.

im into watching the boondocking forsure along with the hillclimbing but not the hillclimbing that very few would attempt

#1- Climbs (not hero snow)
#2- Boondocking through the trees (Burandt style)
#3- Some drops but not many.
#4- Carnage!
#5- No ramps but some natural jumps with an occassional backflip. (waiting for the double backflip)
#6- Great camera angles and editing. (Slednecks does a great job here)
