What do you like to see in Sled videos?

Work, No I wasn't implying that big sleds take less skill.
I'm not sure what I was getting at with my comment.

I think your were saying that its impressive to see someone take a 600 polaris and work it through trees, sidehilling like crazy and taking a super technical line to get up and over a hill. Where as the 1000cc sled would just blow right up and over.

I dont think he was talking about taking a 600cc sled up some of the chutes, nor dissing any of the turbo riders and their skills in the big chutes. Just saying its exciting to him to see what someone can do on a sled he owns. And i for one concur... i love watching people take a different approach to the top...

boondocking through powder for more than 5 seconds would be nice. One of the reasons why I really like Boost is because Veedy edits sequences longer than 5 seconds. You get to see someone pick a line up a hill from almost from start to finish. I'm tired of seeing someone carve one turn and bam! onto the next shot. Those cut shots are great for teasers but way too many in some of the videos lately. Jumps and cornice drops are fun to watch. Big climbs are good too. Especially when it's a long technical shot. Some technical info on the sleds they ride in the bonus features would be good. Full mod or lite mod, it would be interesting to know a few details. Add a map showing the general area where they're riding. Some of these film companies have avy experts. They should add some footage of those guys making decisions on conditions and terrain in the bonus area as well. I like the extra on Extreme Velocity where he shows how they put together the opening sequence. Give some of us amatuers a few hints :)
Some night life would be fun as well.

I agree with this guy !! All good ideas.

new film

hay im going to be making a video this next coming season and i couldn't agree more with what every 1 else is saying about to crazy and being to chopy no matter how good you are every 1 makes mistakes and we all love to see thouse things im going to keep reading what you guys like to see and i also need a little help on a name for the vid thanks.

sled sounds are a benefit, i like some music, but not defening, i think burandt's part in Slendnecks 10 is almost, perfect, just a little to much music, take a look

natural hits are really fun to pop off of in the pow, and many other good coments on here, like going to the spot, riding, not just wam, wam, wam, constant tricks, and like somebody said climbs that involve riding back down, when you go up a steep chute with rocks at the top, the track locked slidding back down is always a fun time to watch.
